So, I am not into cosplay, but as some of you know I do like the show FaceOff. Well there is a new show Heros of Cosplay on right after FaceOff that I have been watching. I am going to start off by saying it is AWESOME to see what these people can create and come up with for one!!!

Next, a lot of the conventions the top prize is only $1,000. I say only because that doesn't even come close to covering a lot of the costs you can incur on doing cosplay. And we are talking like the hard core ones, but still even if you just want to dress up and go to a few a year, it can really end up being a big bill. Travel costs, hotel, and not to count the costs making your costume.

I was watching it on my DVR this morning some and was thinking just how much money it takes to really do that. To really be good. Some people have been able to turn it into a business, but a lot don't. A lot of people have it as a hobby with them having a "9-5" type of job for the income. And that is when it hit me again. That is why I am here at WA. I want to build a income style that affords me not only the income, but the freedom to be able to go to all the conventions and such without having to take time off of work and missing your job.

I do think it would be fun to go to a few I will admit, but a lot of times what happens in life is you have a lot of time and no money, (unemployed) or you have a lot of money but no time, (high paid employee or self employed).

And if you go there and want to be one of the winners, there is no chance if you don't put a lot of money into it. That's just the fact, because the big flashy ones are the ones that have been known to win a lot. So it comes back to why I am here, and a lot of us are here. We want that income, we want that freedom. We want to be able to have what we want and more. (Helping people, etc.) I know I want to be able to go where I want whenever, both because I have the money, and more importantly the time and freedom to do so.
