CosPlay!!!
So, I am not into cosplay, but as some of you know I do like the show FaceOff. Well there is a new show Heros of Cosplay on right after FaceOff that I have been watching. I am going to start off by saying it is AWESOME to see what these people can create and come up with for one!!!
Next, a lot of the conventions the top prize is only $1,000. I say only because that doesn't even come close to covering a lot of the costs you can incur on doing cosplay. And we are talking like the hard core ones, but still even if you just want to dress up and go to a few a year, it can really end up being a big bill. Travel costs, hotel, and not to count the costs making your costume.
I was watching it on my DVR this morning some and was thinking just how much money it takes to really do that. To really be good. Some people have been able to turn it into a business, but a lot don't. A lot of people have it as a hobby with them having a "9-5" type of job for the income. And that is when it hit me again. That is why I am here at WA. I want to build a income style that affords me not only the income, but the freedom to be able to go to all the conventions and such without having to take time off of work and missing your job.
I do think it would be fun to go to a few I will admit, but a lot of times what happens in life is you have a lot of time and no money, (unemployed) or you have a lot of money but no time, (high paid employee or self employed).
And if you go there and want to be one of the winners, there is no chance if you don't put a lot of money into it. That's just the fact, because the big flashy ones are the ones that have been known to win a lot. So it comes back to why I am here, and a lot of us are here. We want that income, we want that freedom. We want to be able to have what we want and more. (Helping people, etc.) I know I want to be able to go where I want whenever, both because I have the money, and more importantly the time and freedom to do so.

Time is your friend and it can also be your boss. When you have a hobby that takes up a lot of time and money, you make amends to do what you have to to please yourself and your hobby. You are right, that is why we are all here at WA, it is to realize our potential and enjoy things that matter most in our lives.

I rather would work 12 h each day to building up my future that working 4 h and going nowhere.. There is no price tag that is high enough to buy freedom.
Yep, I just showed last night my site to my parents and the YouTube videos I made. OMG were they proud and excited about it. They really loved what I had been doing and creating!
You know the phrase " Have your cake and eat it too" well this lets us do that. Maybe not today or next week but in a while. I have lots of time right now, but little chance to use it as I want to because of cost, and I have had a well paying job that left me no time to do anything with my money. Nice to save of course though. This way of making a living allows the ultimate flexi time and the ability to scale as much as you wish. Best of both worlds which is worth putting in the work.
Yep yep! And then you will be able to get into the hard core cosplay and go to the conventions!!!
How did you know? lol I'd be happy to go into town and get a coffee a couple of times a week.
You been spying on me? I thought I heard hooves on the drive last night... :) lol You'd be hard pressed to find me doing cosplay but going to a convention would be fun.
Lol, what can I say, I should have rode a quieter horse. I KNEW IT to when I saddled the one I did up.

Well said! I couldn't agree with you more. That is the reason I started searching for something better about five years ago. I was tired of feeling like I'm going nowhere. My time was mostly spent at work and as for money, well, that wasn't there either! So, when I did have a little time to spend doing anything, I didn't have the money to do it anyway. That's been changing some with more time on my hands, now to get that money rolling in, so I can be completely free to do what I enjoy doing instead of doing my employer's bidding.
Thank you! That is why I want to get into the internet marketing field, (The proper way, because I did go through the Empower Network "right of passage" lol) And also into real estate investing. Real estate isn't going anywhere and it is everywhere that you go. Those 2 things for me are really going to be good.

Absolutely I believe that is where everyone would say they want to be. For many they are just content where they are. Honestly I would love to be just like that to be content whatever and wherever. Not a easy thing.

See, and that is the process. To be truly happy with where you are, but always wanting more. But not having your happiness based on having the "more."
Because to many people don't want to improve themselves, they want to be the least that they can be. It can get even more complicated, but this is just a little taste, lol.
