Keeping your blog content engaging and effective

Throughout my training here at Wealthy Affiliate, I have learned so much about the importance of content when writing blog post or page on a website. The relevancy to the niche, adding images, highlighting certain words, changing font types and size at the right place.

When one goes to view a website, they want to get something out of it. This would be something they would take and use it to solve a problem, to incorporate in their daily lives, change the way they perceive things or pass it along to friends/family/colleagues. The content has to generate interest and be engaging. This all comes from an individual's thought and then come alive through words, sentences, paragraphs and finally to an article. We are such a wondrous species that we can create anything from our imaginations. What was once fiction at one point in time becomes reality in the next point in time. All this creation to utilize in our daily lives and help us through the times. This is why writing engaging and effective content is important to transform the words to actual actions. They say pictures are worth a thousand words but words are the melodic harmony coming from our mind at the moment of receipt of an impression.

If you want to capture an audience and gain traffic, remember that there has to be a takeaway from the audience so that they come back for more. Think of it as bits of food for the mind. When you capture that, then success is just around the corner. How is it that great authors have many followers; it is by their written content and it will stay there as memory and experience. Every article, post or page will need to create a mental shock to an individual to keep them in the moment and then absorb what they have read so that it will make sense to them. As I am writing this blog, I want the reader to understand what it entails to writing content as if they were in the reader's shoes or step back to see themselves interacting with the content. The content will only be as good as the author makes it to be.
