Non Perishable Goods In Exchange For A Free Meal
Next December 2nd, the chain of restaurants that I represent is holding a provincial food drive.
In exchange for 5 non-perishable goods, they are offering one free meal. Then, the food will be given to local organizations to help the needy during the Holiday season.
Last year, a total of 48,000 pounds of food was collected and over 11,000 people ate for free.
Talk about killing two birds with one stone!
This truly warms my heart makes me so proud to be part of such an amazing company.
They are always open to my ideas and this motivates me to a maximum.
Although this is a huge and most important gesture of ''paying it forward'', every gesture is important. There is no such thing as a small gesture. When it comes from the heart, it becomes one of compassion and that is all that matters.

That's awesome and a great idea. We have food drives at work and I make it a competition for each shift...it's fun and always for a good cause.
That's awesome! It's so important to give back! :)
