FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out)

One thing that was very hard for me when I started out here on Wealthy Affiliate and my online business journey was to stay focused. I was so excited and motivated that I wanted to try out everything and didn't have the patience to stick with something because I felt like I was missing out on other opportunities.

Focus!

But this I had to learn. Focus. Tip for all beginners: Make sure to stick with your strengths and on putting the effort consistently into one thing! Don't start building a blog, then an email list and social media and Kindle Books and Shirt stores... Sounds ridicoulos right? Well, that was what I did. Learn from my mistakes and think before you start building new things. Is the effort worth it or would it make more sense to make the site you already have stronger?

Well, I learned my lesson. But on the other hand without all the experiences I made I wouldn't be so knowledgable. I tried many things and that gave me a lot of experiences.

Be patient...

My tip is though to focus on the main things. Once you build up a certain stability, then you can think about in expanding. But really put the focus in the things that work for you and be patient! There is no shortcut, trust me. And if you think there is you will have to pay back later.

Take your time, there is no rush. And even if you feel like you have no time and you have to do something quickly, then you have to find another way to fix that problem.

Siriously?

Now I am currently working on 2 things: my new website SiriousThoughts.com and my email list. The idea for the website came to me during the quarantine time here in italy. I needed some kind of outlet for my thoughts. I was alone for 2 months and it was kinda a neccessity for me. But I am happy I started this online journey again :)
