AI is Boring - Yawn

Hello my Fellow Entrepreneurs,
I would like to question the people that are relying heavily on AI for their content, especially in site comments here in WA?
To me without a doubt AI, lacks a deep an meaningful connection, that can be shared from fellow humans giving a personal introspective on thoughts of their unique mind and embodied spirit.
I am highly dissatisfied in reading something that lacks the emotion of a human, even if that human is giving a 3 word answer, it would be better than a whole heap of generated garbage!
I do think AI can be useful for research and I feel that it can be left there for now...
Please for the love of humanity, do not devote all your dependency on AI to think your thoughts!
The human is born with spirit and soul, let us not forget that.

I have to say that I agree with you, Erica! I was extremely dubious of AI when it first became available to the public. However, with the Wealthy Affiliate training, I can see how it can be a very useful helper, but it does need extreme care.
Recently, a member wrote a blog post about his Wealthy Affiliate experience; it was a genuine post and quite a long one. I gave a very detailed reply, only to receive an AI comment back, which was an absolute load of garbage and had no value whatsoever!
I don't know if you saw Jeannine's post, which was very interesting. Apparently, Google is now coming down on AI content which I'm very pleased to hear. One large website has been totally de-indexed due to its AI content! You can see the post below. Mass AI-Content Websites Being De-Indexed I haven't seen any blog post comments as such, as I don't really use the feature, but I can imagine what it's like! The amount of fluff and drivel that AI writes is unbelievable and it's unbelievable that people think it's okay! As you mentioned, we want to read something that is wholesome, genuine, real and from the heart, not AI fluff!

Hello Roy, thanks so much for your genuine thoughts and points to my stance.
I have looked into the WA Hub and I think it is brilliant yes I am not questioning the intelligence of using AI, that is far from my point.
I am questioning exactly that as you say the heart is being left behind in people, it seems like a rigmarole for lots of people to use their compassion even when typing words,
After all the written work of words is suppose to be an Art, not a mass blob of text.

It's a pleasure, Erica; it's something that I feel quite strongly about, in a good way, I believe.
The hubs are good and certainly can help us get started, especially if we have brain fog, the hubs can help to open up our thoughts. But we need to make it our own.
Partha created a post about the hubs, which is very true. For example, if everyone is promoting Wealthy Affiliate, we will all be getting similar titles and our posts won't stand a chance of performing very well. I believe he is right.
One of the things that's made Wealthy Affiliate so good is that we hear about member's genuine experiences. Some of these things are wins and some of them are struggles, etc, but the good thing is from being genuine, we can help and share our genuine experiences. Not one of us should want to hear AI fluff!
I seem to be hearing people using AI words in general conversation more now! Let's delve into this article, etc!! We need to be our own unique selves!

Absolutely Roy, it is a little daunting the lack of identifying and honoring peoples creative side...
I feel the distancing in peoples genuine callings of their true selves.
It just makes me feel even more lonely reading from someone that has not used their own mind...

There is a member on the platform whose posts I would read regularly; I have stopped reading her posts now because it's all AI fluff! It's a shame because she was writing genuine blog posts about her Wealthy Affiliate experience.

I believe that also, very much that we are all born with distinct differences and this needs to be expressed in our own ways. After all that is what makes life experiences abundant and having curiosity of our fellow beings...

I always add my personal touch to AI-generated materials, which usually takes a few days after doing all the editing then SEO, links, tags, etc. I like the ease of generating an outline then article that I can then go in and alter to make my own voice and personality. I change words or phrases that AI uses that I wouldn't to something that sounds more like what I'd say. They are awesome tools, but with the exception of generated images, (which sometimes I wish I COULD edit) I pretty much rewrite the articles I have AI write for me.
I do get what you're saying though. I don't like reading AI stand alone content, either. It's boring. 😊

Hello Kevin, thanks so much for your placing your perspectives to me, I appreciate that you utilize AI, however as you are explaining that you merge your human touch to the outlines..
I think also that AI is useful, I just find a lot of material that a lot of people are doing is far too dependent on having calibrated words to write something, instead of looking at growing or expanding their own vocabulary to sound creative...

Agreed. One thing I do like about the AI tools at WA... Having AI write articles on specific subjects in my niche has actually taught ME a lot that I didn't already know! 😂

Thank you Erica although as you said it has some use for research too many people even here are just getting lazy and forgetting to be human and taking far too much AI content for granted just for the sake of ranking here or more like gaming the system which has no bearing on their online business.
Hello Andre, thanks so much for your thoughts on my opinion here..
I happen to agree that the notion of getting a rank is outweighing quality.
And to be honest most of what I read of late is exactly that quite boring and mundane, repetitive and missing that individual spin of what makes somebodies thoughts unique.
That is partly why I had a break from WA because I was tired of seeing so much boring content, apart from a few like yourself.
I remain steadfast in the fact that AI is useful to peruse for ideas for sure, but relying on the generated verse after verse of uninteresting content, is to me got to be even some copyright laws being broken...

I think the problem here is that there are many out there who are using AI as a simple create, copy and paste process for their posts. This certainly not only removes the human element but the search engines (with their EEAT philosophy) are starting to punish it as well - yep, I used the word punish as Google is the wild west at the moment!
I personally fell into that trap early but have found that a careful mixture of both certainly gives me a good baseline for the content of the post in a time saving manner. I then go in and personalize it with my own experience as well.

It is great as you say to use AI with a strategy, to not lose the human voice in articles and with sharing real lived experience on matters, rather than copy an pasting AI dribble.

totally agreed, I do use the AI writer for layouts and organization and ideas, but I think I still delete like 3/4 th of an article. As a non-native English speaker, it is helpful though.
But you're right, most of the articles presented in the comment section are very boring to read, this is why I just give those AI comments back, to be honest, because I don't know how to "humanly" react to them or I just skip them if they are very boring. I don't understand that people think that they will rank?

Yes I agree for a non-native English speaker AI is very innovative indeed and can be very handy for divulging into English or in fact any other language!
You are totally right that relying on AI to be the sole creator is not a good idea and it is not easy to "humanly" react back to those AI comments!
