Sitting Here Thinking.
So, I'm thinking about my website and I know I have some visitors, so far 12 being my HIGHEST in a day. I'm thinking:
- What other information should I put?
- What is it that isn't "catching" my audience?
- What else should I do?
- If I'm doing something wrong, what is it?
Luckily, I've been checking my analytic's and found a bad link. (Bad links are your worst enemy). Other than that, I'm pretty exhausted. I suppose I just expected a little bit of a better pay-off. It just gets hard at times. I knew this wasn't a get-rich-quick scheme, but it's hard to work and feel like there are no rewards yet. I know I know....patience is key. Perhaps my exhaustion is kicking in and just making me grumpy (Yeah, it's the reason why but I'm in denial). If anyone can check out my site and tell me what may be something to look at and fixing-----it would be DEEPLY DEEPLY appreciated.
Sometimes you just need fresh eyes and an unbiased view ( because I think everything I do is super awesome :-P )
I better get some rest and stay off for a day. Need to get my mind straight.

Not to sound mean, but why do you think you have more? What did you expect only 2 weeks in? Kyle even said it took him about 2 years before he started having a real income. About 6 months till he had money coming in though. But he also knew at that time what he was doing.
You do then you wait. Yes, waiting is the hard part. There is only so much you can do however. Try reading this, https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/how-to-properly-set-goals
"Not to sound mean" I love that line, it's like when some people tell me, "No offense Jessica." I reply, "A little taken." Haha. I appreciate harsh honesty, because sometimes honesty is a need of a smack in the face. (Not literally, or....maaaaybe?) Like I say, patience is my enemy, never had it. I'm always a "on the go" kind of gal and it's usually hard for me to focus on something and stay put when I don't see the results I desire. I know, nothing to be proud of, but no lesson I read will hit me with reality until it seeps in and I think, "This SUCKS!" Like I say, I think I'm just tired...and need a break. Aside from this, I have to start doing my school assignment (Unfortunately, my final assignment). Thanks though, I appreciate your input.

Hey, I want to echo what Jim said. Be patient, you're doing a great job and I really like your site (left you a comment). Continue to target your niche, the stay at home moms, because they should be able to fit WA into their busy schedules, just continue to show them how.
I do want to note that there are a lot of things for sale and you may need to be careful how many you place on your site. I think you want folks coming for the valuable content, which you are already posting, and not arriving and feeling pressured to buy.
That being said, you're on the right path, continue doing what you're doing.
I want to start by saying I think the site design is really cool. Kudos on that. One thing that immediately sticks out for me is that your front page is a review of something. It doesn't give me any kind of picture what you are trying to tell me. The front page should set the mood for the entire site. "We review work at home programs for moms, etc. We know what it's like and we are here to help you" and so on.
As for the traffic, ask yourself the question, how did I get my site to get twelve visitors? What steps did you take to get them? Then, to get more traffic, just do more of what you did to get to the 12. I know that sounds like I'm being some kind of Weisenheimer but it really is the way to do it. Just keep doing more of the same. If it took you 10 articles to get that traffic then write 10 more. If it took you targeting 10 keywords on PPC then target 10 more.
Also, give yourself a break. You've only been at this since July 10. If you're getting any traffic on a consistent basis, that should be looked at as a positive. Definitely get some rest. You'll have a fresh view of it tomorrow.
Hang in there,
Jim
Jim,
That's a wonderful idea, I think I will fix that before I head out. HAHA! I appreciate your input. I do look at the few amount that come and I think,"SOMEONE CAME ON MY SITE!" Silly, but it makes me happy. You are right, doing more of the same just may be the trick and I know I just started on the 10th.....but in case you haven't noticed, patience is my enemy. Thanks again, it helps to get advice.
Jessica
