Patience Is For the Strong

So, I feel like I've done all I can do for today for my page (I have to do my school online). I'm trying to do schoolwork, but find myself signing back on. I feel like I threw out my fish bait, any takers? Patience, I should have some, but I don't. If it were up to me, I'd be on working on my site 24/7. School is school, I have to do it. I know I won't be making any money as of yet, but I must admit...I do wonder: For those who have started, how long did it take for you to earn something. All I can do is try, correct, and try again. To be honest, a part of me wants to make my husband proud. I also just want to help him any way financially. He carries a lot on his shoulders and finding a way to make side money would be wonderful for a family of 5.

That's good thinking: small goals. Sometimes I just want to jump in and take on too much. I know I intend to do some more articles, but that all takes time. So I guess my next step is "organizing" mode. I gather all my materials and do an outline of what I want to write. Then gradually do one article at a time. I used to run, not 8 miles, but only 2 miles a day. Now that I have 3 kids, no running for me although I was blessed with a high metabolism. Everyone says, "You're skinny, you don't need to run." I try to say, "But, I'm not fit." Their response again is "You're skinny." Then I say, "If I went running, I would have a heart attack. My heart is not fit to run!" That's the way I see it at least, I may be skinny, but I am not 'healthy'. Running that long must have taken you some time. Do you run in marathons? I always found running therapeutic.

Well you have to make sure that your foundation is strong, then you can really get to work and have good content. What is your niche, if you don't mind me asking? Mine is sports blogging and also network marketing through a nutrition-based business I'm with called vemma (kind of like a newer herbalife only better). And yeah I run half marathons actually and I play soccer. I started running when I was 13, and when I turned 14 I was up to running 8 miles a day and I've been doing it ever since. The way I look at it is that our health is our most important thing, but we take for granted. I mean once we lose it, we'll do anything to get it back. That's why exercise and eating right is so important to me. I think if you find running therapeutic you would benefit a lot from it and would definitely help you in the patience aspect lol. You can make time, all you need is 30 minutes a day, 5-6 days a week. Just start up slow and maybe even try walking at first. People always tell me they don't have time to workout, but I always believe that if something is important to you, you'll make time.

I gotta go with the San Diego SUPER Chargers!!!

OH MY GOSH lol. It's okay I won't hold it against you. I actually bought tickets to the Chargers home opener on monday night football against the Texans. You better believe I will blog about that lol. But yeah I'm from Southern California about 3 hours north of san diego so I root for them.

It's ALL gonna be on my website! Check it out whenever you get a chance. I got a lot of exciting things planned. Take care! And go Chargers! Lol.

Lol I have the same problem with the schoolwork. I'd rather work on my website instead lol. It gets addicting too because I'm seeing it get better with the training and my audience is growing. But yeah I think you just got to keep working hard and make improvements every day. The money will come, but the point is to build something that's going to last you forever, and that does take time to build up.

I think that's my problem, I love the process of building it up. Then once I do it, I think "wow, how cool. What else can I do?" Then I'm at it again. (Like you said: addicting). Thank goodness I only have one site going so far or I'd be worse. I'm supposed to make my own HTML and CSS for my assignment. I know that once I even get a dollar, I'll feel a sense of achievement for my efforts. That feeling is what I want and I know that will take time, but it really is unnerving.

Just stay positive, you'll do fine. The awesome thing is, is that there's tons of support here. But yeah patience is a huge part of this, so you'll have to learn that as well lol. It's funny, you come here to learn how to make money, and you stay in order to learn how to be patient! Lol.

Staying pretty positive so far. I think the anxiousness to succeed has me on overdrive. I have been getting so much help and when I first started with my website, I felt like an utter failure. Luckily, people here have been positive when I felt knocked down and I've been going on regardless. It's funny to know that this isn't a 'get rich quick' scam, but we all want money ASAP! Haha. Work, work, and more work....that always takes time. I will learn my patience! Ironically, I'm the more patient one compared to my husband. Lord have mercy.

LMAO that's funny. Yeah I mean once you build it, you'll start to see how much easier it gets to make money, and your income will gradually rise and rise. But also, we all want money asap, but I think we wouldn't appreciate it nearly as much, and it probably wouldn't come from a legit method that would last us forever. I think we'd get way more satisfaction from building something and then reaping what we sow. I think it's important to have in mind WHY we are doing this, and that's what will keep us going when we feel like giving up.

Definitely, I began this to help my family financially. I don't want something to happen and think, "What are we going to do?" I'm doing this as a preparation of 'just in case'. It is important to remember why or else you lose the drive to succeed. I just started, so I have reaped anything. There's nothing to say that this can really work or that I can really do it, at least: not yet. I intend to achieve more than that 0 credits that lays on the very top on my page. I guess beginner = eager. You would think 3 kids would have had made me more patient, well 4 including my husband. Thank you for your input, it helps out to know that 'real' people are doing this along with me.

Oh of course! I'm always here to help. I just started myself but I've seen huge improvements already. It's all a matter of staying consistent and putting in work every day. I know it seems daunting right now, but just make little goals like weekly or whatever and focus on reaching them. Its kind of like in fitness. I'm a distance runner and everyone gets shocked when I tell them how much I run per day, they're like,OMG I can't even run 1 mile idk how you do 8! But I mean I didn't start out running 8 miles a day right away. I started with running 1 mile, then 2, then 3, etc every single day until I got in better shape. And now I can run a whole lot and its not a big deal to me. So that's what I think of when it comes to doing an online business.

I couldn't figure out a niche when I began, so I started the affiliate bootcamp which is the basic: Advertise WA, do reviews, scam online stuff. I tried to figure out a niche and when I couldn't, I felt like I was wasting time when I could be getting to work. (No patience). So, my site is going "I think" fairly well. It does need some more articles, which I intend to do, but once again: time thing. You are right, something IS important to me: my family and my school. Which is why I put it before me and my own health...unfortunately. For me, I guess I'm alive...and I cut back on eating out, so I eat a lot of my home cooking. My husband is a type one diabetic, so I have to watch what I eat for the sake of him too. Sports blogging uh? So if I were to ask you about football, who is your team????

Oh dear lord we are meant to be rivals: RAIDER NATION!!!!

Oh that's pretty cool, going to a game is such a rush! You also going to post any pictures of the game?? I am from Southern California (San Bernardino County), but live in Central California now. Well, I better get going, it's been a pleasure talking to you...even though you are a Charger's fan *smh* Haha.
