How 1 Viral Pin Can Skyrocket Earnings
Pinterest Is A Hot Topic
Since Pinterest has been such an asset to many entrepreneurs that I know, including myself. I would love to take the time to tell you how just 1 viral pin can skyrocket earnings for your blog or business.
Above is one of my pins that took off virally.
How Does A Viral Pin Happen?
Honestly any pin you create has a chance to go viral at any time. Days, weeks, or even months later. This is the main reason that Pinterest is an obvious asset to many who blog or have online business.
A viral pin occurs when people begin saving your pin to a board. From time to time your pin can take off like a wildfire and be shared and repinned hundreds of times a day.
Making notes of trends that are popular is a major way to know what kind of content is being pinned the most. Hopping on a trend is a great way to potentially go viral.
How Can A Viral Pin Be Beneficial?
Imagine a page you have created is filled with great content and even clickable links that lead to purchases. That is exactly what I have experienced with this particular viral pin.
Each day I wake up to dozens of affiliate sales because of the amount of people clicking on my links.
Imagine having a high ticket item or funnel page that leads to even bigger sales? I wish I had that set up, but of course I had no idea this content would go viral in the first place.
My Advice
Make a Pinterest business account for sure. Make pins for all of your content and post 5-10 pins a day. With the current algorithm and changes that Pinterest has made it doesn't serve to do much more than that.
Maybe you will have a Pin go viral too!

I highly recommend it. It is free all the way around and just something you could try in your spare time.
Definitely ! Templates make it so much easier. Canva is free and you can quickly swap out text and images :)
Canva is my favorite. Especially since it is free. I only recently upgraded to the pro version and I really love it.
Cool.
And do you customize every pin for every article?
I followed the tutorial from Kyle, and just posted the featured image from each article.
Based on this post, I'm thinking the stakes of the game have gone up.
Is this really the case?

You have given me a fresh look at Pinterest. I love the site but honestly find it time consuming. In my ideal world, I'd have someone else handle the social media side and I'd be able to just write content 🙂 But, in my current reality, I do need to get back to Pinterest.
Thanks for the motivating post!
You are welcome! I understand completely. I wish I had my own social media specialist to handle these things, but I've made a sort of schedule for myself to stay on track. I hope you get to give a try again! All the best.
