Be very careful of Social Media. Know your followers !

This is a word of caution for most social media sites, such as instagram, facebook or where a chat function is possible.

Please just stick to focusing on your work and not to be carried away, a small glance is okay but to be swayed away is danger lurking.

The scams are endless especially so are the requests for donations to charities, buying itunes gift cards, asking or writing to the UN for so and so's leave so they can come home to be with extended family. If its tugging at your heart, you know they have power over you.

Stop and think about why these things were not accessible to them already and why is it a certain issue now that you are in their lives?

This is a big question as it was not you who asked them to be in that predicament or situation, it autonomy to decide one's life, career or choices. Suddenly their world spins around you and their problems become yours? I mean suddenly within a few days that soon.

Never surrender your details play into time and fade out or ghost them. If it persists block them and never be romantically involved even if it seems so credible, even if they send you videos of them playing instruments and singing for you.

The details will more than often link back to online hackers and pirates, off late is a scam from Nigeria. Sorry to thhe genuine ones here, but there are some bad apples and its coicidentally from that locale.

Its been a tumultous time ever since i was asked to write to the UN to request a supposed top rank doctor, out of respect so that he could be with his son and family. Apparently he was a really debonair one alright ! lol bias probably on my part .

Would I oblige if I weren't attracted? No, I am so protective of myself no one can fool me through and through i can see them for their intentions.

They capitalise on that, they know what makes women weak in the knees and steal profiles and assume it was the tables turned on the real owners of those profiles.

Tactics to employ to sweep those spammers like bed bugs:

1. Question the urgency, the request and nature.

2. If they persist, or give you time and then come back again in the conversation, which often starts sweetly and casually . The spammer will revisit the topic and that is a guarantee.

Avoid or ghost on them back again, as it drives them desperate and may even subside if you ignore it. It doesnt hurt to question their intentions, qualifications.

Thats all the 2cents I wanted to offer here as ive been lately experienced myself so to speak and want to atleast shed light on something quite vicious its actually a cyber threat on its own.

Delay, ghost do what you need to block never talk or buy into time and ghost.

Im so glad to be back to this safe zone at WA its like coming to safer shores!
