Shall I or Shall I not

So, after a week of trying to learn more about the Wealthy Affiliate Program I decided to join.

In the passed I would just sign up within 2 seconds, as soon as it said " Get (speedy) financial freedom by only working 4 hours a day. Travel 365 days and you work from the beach. What a bummer it was, when you only had to pay more and more and the income wasn't enough to pay 1 bill.

OK, just being honest, I was a big daydreamer and I can be lazy. So the beautiful (mind setting) words, flashy video's were my dream job.

So after some real hard changes, I was skeptical about this program and was trying to find out as much as possible. After a week I decided to join and was immediately attracted that there was no flashy video, no 4 hours a day speedy financial freedom. In your face the words are right there, "Do not aspect overnight financial freedom, if you don't work hard for it."

No problem anymore, but I do have a little dilemma, shall I or shall I not become a premium member. With the other programs you are kind of "pushed" in to it. Otherwise you will not get rich and your a loser. WA shows you the benefits of becoming a premium member but you still survive if you decide NOT to.

I still have 4 days, 3 hrs & 35 mins & now 10 sec. left to decide.

Shall I or Shall I not.......

Keep you posted!

Hey there! First off, welcome to the team.
My personal advice would be - If it doesn't hurt you financially and you are willing to keep putting in time. Go premium at least for the first month since it's $19 bucks. This will allow you to continue the training past course one and you'll be able to learn A LOT about building your website up and marketing online.
However, if it is a financial stress and you are okay with sticking to the first course and free sites, stay there.
I don't believe anyone should ever go into debt for any financial "opportunity".
Everyone knows their own comfort level, if you're uncomfortable than don't do it.
Cheers,
Nathan

Thank you Nathanlucas for your advice. I'll keep it in mind.

WA does try to get you to join, they send out banners and emails to you everyday. So they do push! That is how they make their money. Just remember. I've talked with members here which have worked the program for years and have just now made their monthly fees back!

Thanks for your advice @RickBell57.

Wait, give it some more thought. It is hard to make money here for the majority. Work it for free to see if you can put in the time first. If you are not able to put in 4 hours a day, 6 days a week...it will take you about two years to see any returns! If you are a geek you may have a commission within the first month. Just saying!

I've got websites, I have no traffic. I've been here for 90 days and just found out everything I've done needs to be redone!
Think about it before spending the money. If it sounds to good to be true, it usually is.

Thank you jancrum,BlunderBabe & kbyer for the advice. How do you have the monthly fee? Thru paypal?

Yes, I use paypal

Paypal............I have been using it for years. Safest and easiest. Just check you statements often. They will also notify via email when a payment is taken out.

Shireen, like you I would also join different opportunities trying to find the right fit for me. Although I am fairly new to WA the thing that made me go premium so soon was the support that I received immediately after joining. But you are doing it the right way by weighing your options. For me, with the training and the websites I already feel like I am getting my monies worth. I hope this helps, and good luck with whatever you decide.

The one drawback of going premium is that you can't drop down to free membership if you can't afford the monthly fee. Premium is awesome and offers a lot more resources--but honestly, you shouldn't even look at them until you have a grasp of the basics--provided at the WA free level.

Very good advice, that was something I didn't know.

Shireen, I would take all of the free training and stuff from here that you can. If your hunger grows for this business and you want to continue, then Go Premium. It is all up to you . I don't believe you find anyone here that will pressure you to go premium. It is just that you will have limited access to training, communication, etc...................Hope to see you go premium. Best wishes.
