Commenting on fellow wa websites
On June 18, 2014, Steve71 wrote an excellent Blog about commenting on websites. I would just like to add my two cents worth to his Blog. Commenting, or leaving a reply on fellow Wealthy Affiliate Members websites not only helps build the ranking of the website by Google, but it gives the owner of the website a good shot of confidence that he/she is doing a good job. I love to ask other Members to take a look at my website and tell me what they think, but instead of leaving any criticism in the comments on my website, I like it when the one leaving the comment sends me a personal message to tell me what I'm doing wrong, or how I can make it better. One thing I'm trying to remember to do so at the end of every one of my new Posts on my website is this: Don't be shy - leave a Reply! Hopefully, this will encourage others to leave a comment after they read my Post.

Good reminders--thanks! We do need to help each other as a community and keep the "needs improvement" comments within WA. Also a reminder, if you ask for comments on your site, you need to be able to check out others posts and help them as well.
Well said. I've received some very constructive feedback from WA members in the form of comments or PM's within WA. Some of those individuals have also made it a point to post a positive comment on my website -- noting something that they liked about the page/post. I agree with your post that it is most appropriate to point out areas of improvement within the WA community comment section or via PM, and not to include that type of feedback within the website comment area.

Yep, and leave the page open for a while, even in the background, so you do not raise the bounce rate on the WA friends page!
I don't understand what you mean by this? Please explain. Thanks, Sherri
When a website is visited and then the visitor closes the site after a short period of time, the visit is considered a bounce. A webpage should be engaging enough to keep a visitors attention and share information. If a WA member visits and just leaves a message, it is considered a bounce. If the WA member leaves the page open for a few minutes, even in the background, then Google believes the page captured the "visitors" attention and gives the page more "Google Love" than a bounce visit.
oh! OK - that makes sense. Thanks for clarifying that for me.
