I am really excited and a little scared! It might just be because I have a hard time with change. My mom always tells me that if it sounds too good to be true it probably is...she is one that thinks that working a 9-5 for someone else is more secure and more realistic. I am not doing this to prove her wrong, I really don't want to work for anyone else. I want to become successful by working hard and not have roadblocks that I cannot remove (like a boss that doesn't care if I get ahead). But I still have my mom's voice in my head telling me that it's not going to work...maybe this is about proving her wrong. :) Just a little!

I know the same exact feeling that you have experienced with that voice in your head. I recommend that you tell it to keep quiet and stay focused and positive. You are doing this for YOU!!!
You made a wise decision. You have the whole WA Community behind you :) WA does seem "too good to be true," but it has worked for me with a lot of help from the community here. Take it slow and follow the instructional videos and above all, ask for help when you get stuck or have a question. Your success is very important to us. All the best to you.
This industry was new to everyone at one point, myself included. Back when I started I had no knowledge of the Internet business and this. As you move forward, you will get the hang of this and things that you are overwhelmed with by now, will become second nature.

Hi Shelly. Welcome to WA. I read your profile and all I can say is the best thing to do, in my opinion, is to follow your own heart as well as your head. I've been working in this industry of internet marketing for many years, however I joined this opportunity because I wanted to finally learn how to become a successful marketer. I wouldn't be here if I had made tons of money prior to joining. But, I haven't. So I figured for me it was back to square one.
I'm learning so much here! I can tell you what does not work, but not necessarily what does. The huge exception is Wealthy Affiliate...I am finally on the right track to becoming successful. It doesn't happen overnight as it is a process of learning. I really hope you stay here. This will work for you as long as you follow the steps as they are laid out. I started at the green "Get Started Here" button on the upper left.
And, I went through most all the steps in order. But, lots of times I forget to check off the tasks as I do them. I have not even started on the Affiliate Bootcamp Training yet. I am getting ready to publish my first Blog and I've been here since early Dec. 2014. It does not have to take that long. But for various reasons I am taking it slow, sometimes reading the training steps more than one time in order to get it into my head and really do this program the right way.
You can also promote WA as an affiliate and earn $22.50 per month for anyone who signs up below your (you will then be their Sponsor) referral link. This is all residual income for you for each and every person who joins under you and stays at Premium level. So two Premium referrals and your monthly fee to be a member here is just about paid for.
When I read your profile it struck a cord in me as I identified with a lot of what you wrote. Sorry I've gone on and on, but just felt like trying to encourage you to stay here. Contact your sponsor and ask any questions you have, you will get a response. Actually more than one response. I usually choose the reply of members who have been here and are in the top 100 or Ambassadors.
I will leave you with this thought. I was (and still am a RN, but retired). Please give this a shot? Do it for you! If you stick with it, you will not be disappointed. Hi Michéal. Congrats on going premium! Sometimes we have to put those voices out of our mind that tell us we won't succeed at something. You can do anything you want to do, all it takes is a goal and hard work. Keep on with your training and even if you don't mean to, you can prove your mom wrong. :)

You go sweetiepie! Yea I used to be an RN. Absolutely hated working to make some Doc more successful! You have it in you to be a very successful entrepreneur! Don't allow anyone stifle that!! It can be done just look at the millions of successes out there!!!!
