Email Marketing Advice for Newbies
I've been with WA now for 6 months and just now entering phase 6 of Bootcamp. (I am a little slow I know) My website has come along nicely and been built out quite a bit but the one thing I have not been taking advantage of in all this time is building an email list, which if you guys read the blogs of the top 100 here in WA this is stressed as vital to building an online business. However, this subject is not even been touched on until the near the end of entrepuneur or bootcamp training.
I advise all new members (and those that have been around a while that haven't done yet, to incorporate this feature into your websites ASAP. You can jump ahead to Kyles training here for an intro to email marketing.

There are some great email marketing services that are free to get started with and then as your subscribers grow you will have to upgrade to their paid services. Here is a list of three "Free" services that I have found.
*Benchmark- offers up to 2000 contacts free and 14,000 emails per mo. they also offer access to some of their other features on the free plan, like creating online surveys, email templates & tracking.
*Mailchimp (this is probably one of the more well-known ones and the one I chose to go with) They also offer up to 2000 contacts and 12,000 emails per month with access to the same features. Here is a WA link to a tutorial on how to set up an account and incorporate into your website. https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/capturing...
*Vertical Response- allows 1000 contacts and 4000 emails per month with their free service. While this is considerably less than the other two mentioned that also offer a free auto responder feature (for a limited time) that the other two only offer to paid subscribers.
I know there are other free services out there to try but most are for a limited time frame. These services are truly free until you decide you need to upgrade.

Great article Sheila!
Creating lists and marketing to subscribers has been and will likely always be a profitable venue for those that can manage it. It's an advanced function for newbies, but definitely worth learning!
Thanks so much - much appreciated. A little beyond me, but with this, I can learn! Cheers! All the best to you, Sheila!
