To Succeed, Do what? DO LESS!

I oftentimes find myself overwhelmed with all the lists of things to do in my life. I'm not one to make New Year's Resolutions (because I believe each day brings a brand new start) but if I were going to make one, this would be it. I found a great read that I'd like to share with my WA family by Leo Babauta entitled, "Do Less: A Short Guide." It is liberating. Enjoy the read and have a blessed and HAPPY NEW YEAR! To our Success in 2014 and the years to come!

Thanks. Happy New Year ($$$)!

Hi I am at the moment eliminating what isn't important and back to basics. One step at a time Cheers Carolena

Eliminate the unnecessary and concentrate on the important things. Mostly content!!

I had a lot of hopes and desires for 2014. Then I started to consider how I was going to get them done. Turns out I would be running around like a crazy woman to accomplish them all.

So I have begun to trim out things and concentration on my websites which are bringing me a little income and with more work will increase my income. I have been semi retired now for 8 months and enjoy my semi retirement but enjoy some form of work.

I also agree with Rick's comments.

Thanks for sharing. Happy New Year!! All the best to you in 2014. Debbie

You are welcome.

Thanks for sharing. One thing that jumped out was to focus on the important stuff. And with our online business that means focusing on our website, not on all the tangents we find while we're doing our research, chatting on social (or even WA) when we should be writing, or spending hours watching TV or videos. I try to reward myself with these things AFTER I work on a post and get it published.

It's so easy to let ourselves get sidetracked and let those valuable minutes, which can turn into hours, slip away. We don't have to schedule our free time but we should schedule our work time. Thanks again.

Rick, I know exactly what you mean.

I plan to do less in 2014 by removing a lot of clutter and unfinished projects from my life. That will give me more time to work on the things that are important to me.
