Do YOU believe in You?
Have you ever been so excited about a great idea, a business opportunity, an invention etc., and you could not wait to tell your spouse, significant other, mom/dad or someone special in your life? Once you shared that great news, it was as if they had popped your balloon, letting out all the air and it immediately fell to the ground deflated, landing in a sorry pile of rubble? Well you are not alone.
Since I was a child, my mind has always conjured up ideas to make money or invent something. Some of them good (and have gone to market) others not so good. What I have learned through the years is that you can't always share your ideas with others and expect them to understand. An entrepreneur's mind does not work like the average person who is meant to work a regular 9-5. We don't think the same or do the same things to become successful as the average Joe. We think out of the box!
Don't ever think that because someone does not like your idea or they laugh at you, that you are the crazy one or your idea is stupid. YOU have to BELIEVE in YOURSELF, when no one else will . That is the only way you will survive in this 'dog eat dog world'. Don't be so quick to share you ideas. Document them from inception and when you are well on your way to success with proof, then share with those who may be naysayers. If they are still negative and think you are a lunatic, DROP THEM LIKE A HOT POTATO! Of course unless they are family, then you are stuck with them (smile).
Most importantly, when YOU believe in YOU, there is not a soul on this earth who can convince you that you are a failure, less than, not good enough, or can't do it. Surround yourself with people who are like minded and have a positive outlook on things. Those who believe ANYTHING is possible and have similar goals. A good place to start is the Wealthy Affiliate Community! We believe in You and that You can reach the goals you've set. My question to you is..DO YOU BELIEVE IN YOU?

They are called negatrons. :) People or anybody who sucks out the energy in you. There are two kinds, the intentional and unintentional negatrons. Be careful with intentional trons, they will always be hanging around. What to do? Focus on your dreams! Remember the reason why you started.
This is exactly what I was trying to say in my Results Are Not Typical post. The majority of people fail at this business. That's typical. When people succeed in their business, those results are not typical because THEY are not typical.
I don't run from people calling me crazy or wierd, I embrace it! My beliefs, attitudes, drive, commitment, passion are not normal and I love myself for it!

Your words are so true. Many people are happy living the status quoi and cannot understand why others strive for the new and exciting. Some are jealous when they think you might accomplish something that puts you "out there".
Never mind them and go with your heart. From Christopher Columbus to Steve Jobs the people have been doubters but when they win the battle everyone wants to be on their side.
Self belief is important isn't it? You are correct in saying people often don't understand. It is particularly difficult when those closest to us do not agree with our decisions. Sometimes we simply need to agree to disagree.
