I have put up regular posts so I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or wether I've chosen the wrong niche or my posts aren't good enough but nothing much is happening.

Are you following up on the core training to the tee?

Are you ticking checklists bottom of lessons, tasks and activities asked of you to complete in order to set up properly and guide you through the process?

Are you writing quality succinct content addressing issues in relation to my niche with a good choice of targeted searchable keywords worthy of your visitors attention, onward sharing onto social media platforms for organic outreach?

Essentially you are writing more informational posts so that you do not sound so salesy to Google and if there’s a solution, a detailed analysis review post for your visitors to let them make an informed decision whether to go click your links and go purchase the focused item you proposed to solve their issue.

Hi Sharon,

It does take a while before traffic starts to arrive at a new site.

The main reason being is that there's loads of new sites around the World that people set up and then give up on after just a few months or so, so Google tends to pretty much ignore young sites and waits for them to 'mature' before taking them seriously.

It is by far the number one frustration when working on this type of business, as it takes time before your hard work starts to bear fruit and, despite that it's said so often that it sounds like a broken record, the advice of 'just keep going' really is good advice. By posting regularly, Google will start to trust your site and traffic will come.

I'm sure that there's nothing wrong with your choice of niche or your posts, it really is just about building up trust with Google which irritatingly only comes with time.

So at the risk of sounding like a broken record - Keep Going! You will succeed.

Best wishes
John

Thanks for this great response, @john1812! As a new member I've been wondering the same thing so this was really helpful.

Thanks John , That is good advice I really appreciate it. Sharon

Sometimes it may take awhile, other hit the ground running. Hope for you is the latter.
