Made my First Ad Revenue and Getting Organic Search Traffic

My website is only 2 months in and I made my first Ad Revenue. I'm continuously updating the looks and placement of ads on my site. This ad revenue came from an ad I placed in a sidebar widget. I made it match the look of my website and it generated some revenue. This goes to show you that you don't have to wait until your site is full of content before you start placing ads. I know there are statistics and information floating around as to when to place ads on your website, but we are humans and not numbers. You never know what type of humans that defy statistics will land on your site so have those ads ready!!

Btw: I placed ads on my website on July 14th and received revenue on July 16th

Also in exciting news coinciding with this, my Google Analytics shows my first Organic Search traffic to my website on July 16th 2017:

I'm not sure if the ad revenue came from the Organic Search Google Traffic or from another source but I'm glad either way to get ad revenue and to get traffic from Google although small.

A few stats to point out:

• I have not built my other social media platforms yet other than G+
• I do not advertise my website
• I've told a few family members and a few friends just to so they can see
• I do not have a lot of content on my site. I should have way more
• My traffic is extremely low (for now ;)

Well I hope this inspires some of you to not hold back and realize you don't have to be looking the part of a professional blogger before money starts trickling in. You can be making money while you're growing and each cent you make will push you that much harder to get the rest of the pot of gold!

Outside of being excited, I'm also sharing this because I've seen some websites here that look way better than mines and are generating more traffic than me. I want to urge you to take advantage of ads although you may not be at the level of perfection you're hoping for.

I'll be making a more in-depth post on my website by this weekend on my recent experience with ad companies and how much I made for those that are interested.
