Links Look Like Regular Text.Is it okay to go Bold or Italicize the links?
Here I am, yet again, with my links not looking clickable!! Steve had changed them for me, which was a very tedious job (thank you again Steve), but now I am back to square one and they just blend in with all of my articles.
Should I make them all Bold or Italicized? I thought I read somewhere that Google really doesn't like that. I made a few links bold and added "Read more..." to my Homepage so they are being clicked on but I still want the links to LOOK clickable to the novice visitor.
I realize I could underline the links, but I don't really like the way it looks. The underline seems so back in the early 90's and I feel it distracts from reading an article.
The links show as blue and purple while I am working on my site, but once published, it's back to plain old black text.
I even installed the color palette plugin but it doesn't show up in my wordpress tool bar.
I really want to work on adding content to my site and little things, like the links, keep my mind from doing so.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Shannon, In the WP editor, you will see the last icon on the right. This is a second line of tools. Click on it and you will find the A for changing text color. Just highlight the text then go to the A and choose a color.

I had to click on it a few times but it finally opened! I have tried before and nothing happened but I did deactivate the plugin I had so maybe that made a difference.
