My First WA Blog Post
My progress thus far
So I’ve just finished the second training set and I must say I am feeling much more confident than what I did at the beginning. A lot more making sense regarding Search Engine Optimization and Keyword Research that I didn’t quite understand before.
Next - MAKING MONEY! Whoop!
My niche that I'm are working within
I really struggled to find a niche. I am so passionate about alot of things and I couldn't see myself writing about alot of it because many are so personal. Plus I have this issue with confidence. But I love books and learning. I love doing online courses and reading blogs and understanding how things work and figuring out how things work especial web and marketing related. I didn’t want to start another mommy blog because too much of parenting is really a personal choice that I’m not comfortable with sharing. So books it is. I could spend hours in a book shop and I love a second hand book shop. So my niche is books and a book store. Kind of like a book review blog. But I am sure that it will change and grow and become something more that I have in mind. Depending on how well my SEO efforts turn out!
Any successes (not just financial, but things I'm proud of)
I am pretty proud of my level of perseverance. I’m home schooling a 4 year old, we’re starting to learn to read, my husband works on site, far away from us, so we don’t see each other for weeks at a time. I’ve got another start up starting to grow which I actually have to spend time on because I create my own graphics for my own products. I’m also busy with an Early Childhood Development course and let’s just say there aren’t enough hours in the day for me. But my mind is like a machine and I can’t switch it off until I am 100% satisfied with the result of whatever it is that I am working on. So just considering all this I guess I am pretty successful already. Now I just need to start making money! Hahahaha! Yeah!
My plans and goals in the upcoming 3 months
I’d like to grow my email list for both my online businesses during the next 3 months. Get as much subscribers as possible. Post at least one blog on each website per week.
My plans and goals in the upcoming 6 months
From month 4 onwards I’d like to start email marketing campaigns on both websites and start earning some money on my websites through my affiliate links and selling my own products. Then I’d like to start helping other people become web entrepreneurs. I already have 3 website clients and I’d like to increase that to 5 in 6 month’s time, and also get their SEO and email marketing going.
In Afrikaans we have a saying – “Aanhouertjie wen.” This means - perseverance pays off! My motto in life.
And as Dory says – “Just keep swimming!"

Awesome, you are doing awesome Shani. The thing is that as you move through the training you are obtaining a theory based understanding as well as an "applied" level of understanding as you implement what you learn. This leads to a true education and ultimately success.
Keep us updated on your progress as you continue moving forward, I really look forward to seeing what you can accomplish in Google and other search engines.

You are absolutely right, it takes perseverance. So glad you learned how to do it. Online marketers need it.
As for the training, you are doing very well if you feel more comfortable now. It took us awhile.
Your niche is an intriguing one. I like to work with my hands and create more than read. I am curious.. Have you read any Zig Ziglar books? They are good for marketers.
