January Progress Report

I actually don't have much to report for January!

Everything is continuing to grow from my Instagram account to my visitors to my push subscribers to getting sales, though December was my biggest month. Nothing too earth shattering but as my main website is only 7 months old right now, I think it's doing just fine. Got over 200 new followers on Instagram last month, most of those the last two weeks. Nothing remarkable going on with my growth yet.

I've had the pleasure of meeting some awesome people at WA the past year, especially Jessica and Michael! I totally appreciate the help, the comments, the Twitter follow and shares, AND the long session of plugin debugging! Plus just simply checking on me since I've been a little MIA on Weathy Affiliate for a while. I've also met a few awesome people on Instagram and FB who share the feral cat rescue bug and they've been SUPER supportive of my crazy few months trying to take cats to the vet, when I don't even own them and half aren't that tame. Even if nothing comes of my website, meeting and networking with fellow cat caretakers was worth it all!

Being missing in action was mostly due to personal preference. I took time away from this platform because people are more about being holier-than-thou or policing behavior that isn't even against the rules or site feedback isn't even site feedback and if I get a site comment from someone that doesn't understand my niche one more time... I swear!

Plus, I rescue cats in my spare time so I've had a rough two months with cats down with upper respiratory infections and even lost a kitten last December so I just don't have the patience for BS, if you know what I mean.

Since I was so busy with that, I made sure to keep my posting schedule for my website, and I barely had time to work on the plugin issue I had OR the calculator I'm creating for my site (which is doing my head in) or the shop.

My goals for February are to continue with my posting schedule, get the dang calculator up, do a few more designs, AND continue with my rescue and social media accounts. I also need to get my planner situated! I've put off starting a new one this year. It was a rough December. I also plan on trying to focus more, even when I don't feel like doing things. Schedule me time too, is important after the past couple of months. My website is going great, my kitty problems are not.

Here's to hoping February will give me something exciting to report!
