So many times in life we try to use the wrong tool for the job. A carpenter would never pick up a hammer to saw a board or a saw to hammer in a nail but that is exactly what we do as marketers when we chase the latest shiny thing that promises instant riches. Wrong tool for the job. Riches come but only after diligent research, action and hard work. It is not easy but it is infinitely doable. So many emails cross my inbox promising the easy life but they are all long on promises and short on results. Anyone can propose a theory but it takes something entirely different to produce tangible results from the latest "brilliant idea that nobody has thought of yet". My approach on these offers is to read through them to see if there is a germ of an idea that I can try to put into practice. So many people will just delete these emails but I embrace them because out of these approaches (most of which are scams but that is another post for another day) there can be a grain of truth that can be expanded into a feasible system. So in order to achieve any level of success we have to be willing to take a step back, identify a problem, propose a solution to the problem, define the demographic and act. Finding the right tool that will work for you for your chosen niche(s) is an art but with hard work and the right tools can expand your business.
