Things Are Moving Ahead. Slowly
Well, I may be moving at a Snail's pace, but I'm moving. The wife has had some friends in town and has been spending most of her time with them. I've been recovering from the move and from a surprise Kidney Stone storm. The back pain that came with it was initially written off as, well, back pain from the move. Anyway, I'm done with that, and the wife's friends leave tomorrow afternoon, so we should be able to start unpacking and settle into the new place.
In the meantime, I have posted a few new articles this month so far and should be back on here a little more often. I'm hoping to get back into the Comment Swapping thread and to start working on getting more involved in general.
Social Media Experiment
I have signed up with Buffer, and am using the WordPress to Buffer Pro plugin (https://www.wpzinc.com/plugins/wordpress-to-buffer-pro/) and I'm liking it so far. They have a bulk publish feature that lets you start quickly by scheduling all of your existing posts to be reshared. They also have auto-posting to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram. I need to get Instagram fixed first - I signed up as a Personal Page and I need to figure out how to make it a Business Page. I also need to get LinkedIn working properly.
I'll let you know how everything goes as this moves ahead. I'm hoping for some added engagement on Facebook and Twitter at a minimum and some more traffic as well.
New Projects
I have someone helping me set up a new Theme using BuddyBoss for our next project. The site is called "WTF is Mental Health" and while phase 1 will be like most other mental health websites, we'll be doing something pretty interesting as we move forward. I'm excited about getting back to mental health as a niche.
We'll also be launching another project aimed at the healthcare market for seniors. Though I'm not sure what the timeline will be for that.
But the project that I'm most excited about is still in the works and I can't talk about it just yet. It will sell a product we are manufacturing and is also in the health arena, but that's all I can say.
As we get closer to launching each of these projects, I'm exploring some options to have content written for me since my time will be focused elsewhere. I'll still be editing and approving all material. Well, that's not exactly true, on the health-related sites, Derek Wood, RN and a retired Psychiatrist that we have partnered with will be doing the technical editing to make sure the content is medically accurate. But I'll be editing for readability and doing all the grammar and spell-checking. I'll also be vetting every site we link to from those sites to ensure there is nothing harmful on the sites.
The goal is to eventually be able to hire folks to help out with all of these tasks, but until then, it's on me. I'll also be handling the manufacturing and order fulfillment of our product until we get large enough to farm that out. So at least I won't be bored.
Testers Will Be Needed
As we launch phase 2 of the WTF project, and as we launch our final project with the manufacturing element, I'll be asking for some folks to Alpha and Beta test for me. This would come with either the promise of several comments on your posts in return, or in the case of our final project, a free copy of our product. We're a while away from that, but if any of this sounds interesting to you, please let me know and I'll add your name to our list of possible testers.

Hi Sean, glad you are in recovery mode after the kidney stone.
I do not think it is how fast someone goes but the ability to keep moving forward.
I certainly would be looking forward to visiting your website and if I can contribute in any way, count me in.
All the best,
Michael
Hey Sean
Sorry to hear about going through with the Kidney Stones I had that many years ago and as you know not a pleasant experience in many ways.
Sometimes I might find a certain position where the back pain wouldn't be as much but not for long and it only takes a small sideward movement to be in pain again.
I do hope that is on the improve as well
The good thing you stated that you are still moving forward sure it may be at a snail's pace but it is still a move forward and I commend you for that.
You have managed to create some more posts along the way and that is always great to hear.
Wishing you well in both personal health but also health with your online business.
Take care and keep going forward you are still doing great
Andre

Hi Sean
I have no personal experience of kidney stones. However, my wife is a very experienced nurse.
About 5 years ago, her daughter (my step daughter, in UK at the time) had kidney stones, was in considerable pain and was told she needed an operation. She asked her Mother what to do. Her Mother didn’t agree with the Doctor and dumped a pack 6 large bottles (9 litres all together) of Evian water at her bedside and told her to drink as much as she could. The next morning the operation was cancelled because the stones had ‘disappeared’. Her daughter was ecstatic. An easy remedy and no pain. This is not medical advice, just an anecdote.
Anyway, when you get to testing I would be interested to help.
:-)
Richard
