Climbing Back Up
November was a tough month for me. Storms here in the Seattle area had me in more pain than usual and trying to get things together for a move (and mom's situation) caused added stress. Both of these things had (well still have) my sleep schedule screwed up. That caused the last few weeks to be more migraine filled than even I'm used to. I'm slowly getting all that back on track, but it meant that my November goals of 30 articles and 60k words were laughably out of reach
So I fell into a bit of a funk and decided to take some recovery time off. My numbers ended up at 17 articles and just over 23k words.
Like I said, it was a rough month.
Then There's Mom
On September 25th, Mom broke her leg and had to have surgery to replace her knee replacement. She was already dealing with a broken shoulder from an earlier fall. She spent about two months in the hospital and tthen rehab. When she was sent home from the rehab facility about two weeks ago, she took COVID-19 with her. She is recovering, but it's been tough not being able to visit and help.
Back on Track
The good news is that I am finally posting again, and while I've set the goals for 30 articles and 60k words again, I'm not going to beat myself up if I don't make it. THey are goals, I'd love to reach them every month, but sometimes life gets in the way.
I posted one article today and am working on a second one.that I'll try and get up later this evening. I also have 5 more in the wings and the ideas for 10 more that are at the "bullet point" stage. If I can get those all posted by the 15th, I should be halfway to my goals for the month.
During my down time, I worked with my former business partner on the ideas for our next few sites. We're hoping to get started on the first of those in January, with a target launch date of March 1st with about 30 articles already on the site. The new site will be my first step back into Mental Health related content since Mental Health Matters.

27 articles and 23000 words is pretty damn good. You should be proud of yourself!
Well done!

Thank you Sean for your post.
You certainly have had a rough time the last few months.
The most important thing is to take care of your health. Your goals are great & can be put on hold at any time if required.
Pleased to see you are " Back on Track" & motivated to create new - keep on keeping on.
