Thanks, WealthyAsFCK. I hear those type comments and just say thanks. My sister and I have a good laugh because we can recall what we use to think about, what it would be like when we got to this age. But the ages aren't slowing us down.

Thanks, drjec. I know I think about when my parents were the age they were when they died. Early 60's, and could barely do anything. I didn't want that type life. I think from what it looks like I am more like my grandmother. She lived to her late 80's and she was my bionic grandmother. They would give her various parts and she kept going. I think if my family members had stepped up to the plate yrs ago, financially I couldn't, she would probably still be here.
She would sit in her trailer and listen to ball games, knit and crochet, long after she lost her eye site. She would cook her own meals, until the day when she caught stuff on fire.

Family chose to put her in a nursing home and she gave up on life.

That is really sad.

She is 4 and her brother is 7 months.

I hope you are enjoying your special day :) It's great having grandkids isn't it :) because you can always hand them back :) not always easy but necessary sometimes...
