I've been playing around with the padding of one of my pages, and I'm not real sure on when to use pixels (px), ephemeral units (em), or percent (%) in regards to CSS sizing. <

I would recommend using % for everything, unless you have experience coding in css, as using fixed sizes can cause issues regarding responsiveness, ie. if you set font size at 24pt, you might end up with a word a line on a 4" screen!

Great Tip......Man

Awesome, thank you.

No probs, you're most welcome! :)

Thanks! :)

Pretty basic question, but if you were to buy a premium plugin, would it be related to SEO, cache, image optimization, or something else? And why?

And answers similar to

If you mean just WP plugins. As SEO specialists I would say it's not worth to pay for SEO plugin for affiliate site ;)

Cache? Hmm.. this as well is enough with free plugins for affiliates.

Image optimisation? Yes, this could be handy, if you have a big site and a lot of content. But as well you can live without it. Just don't upload hi-res images and try to optimise with some freeware and save it properly for use on the web.

Good advice. Thanks!

Hey what's up WA community? I'm wanting to get my mom a laptop for this upcoming Christmas and am lost on what exactly to look for in regards to memory, RAM, processor type, et

Unfortunately, links to sites hosted by WA members will violate the rules of the community. Advice is OK, but not on an external website, has to be here.

http://www.dell.com/learn/us/en/19/campaigns/windows-8-consumer

I had a Dell 2-in-1 laptop/tablet that was awesome. That particular model is no longer available, but there are some comparable ones on the page on the Dell site linked above.

Oh mybad, I thought WA members could link out to their website articles just as long as the link wasn't cloaked or directly linked towards an affiliate partner or any other financial/income sites?

Thanks for the link though. I'm going to do my research on it this weekend. With Christmas a week away I'm right on schedule. Haha.

Best advice for buying laptops?

I used the plugin for a while and had the same problem. I settled for the solutions offered below:

Hey Jude, thanks for your response. I had SiteOrigin's Page Builder plugin deactivated on my posts, but once I activated it for my posts, the codes from the Ultimate Shortcode Plugin appeared in my text editor. So I was able to delete them off the page builder, but even with the page builder plugin activated for posts, it still wouldn't show up in my text editor...haha so I don't know what the reason was, or how it really occurred, but it is fixed now.
Thanks for the reference to the remove-orphan shortcodes plugin. I read alot about it (off the WA website) but was still unsure how well it worked in regards to being smooth and what not.

I did a broken link check on your site and found 20 of them. Here’s the tutorial that may help solve your problem. Hope this helps =)

Perfect thanks. haha ya I started out with 62. I had some affiliate products that created external links, they created nonrelevant tags on my site.

Thanks for checking it for me!

You're most welcome. Let me know if it works =)

It sounds like you are doing everything right, are you making sure you update your post after adding links.
Sometimes I have to go into my site to check the links, when I refresh the page it works......hope this helps

Hey thanks for your response, and yep I submitted my "final" product; I always save it as a draft up until that point, but I added a 301 plugin to redirect any further links that I find like this; hopefully I won't find anymore, but with 50 posts, I imagine there is alot.

I'll let you know on my next post if the hyperlinks are good or not.
