Amazon Associates and Product Screenshots
Hey what's up WA community?
So in the past I have told others that screenshots and copy/pasting Amazon products are completely OK due to the Amazon Associates website saying so under their Help Section.
But as the Amazon Associates website got revamped, I guess they revised a few rules. Under the "Using Links" section, Amazon now clearly states about how not to get images and reviews for products.
Can I copy the images/reviews/logo/videos from Amazon to my website?
We don’t allow you to simply copy and paste directly from the Amazon website. You are welcome to use the linking tools available to you in Associates Central which provide images that are linked directly to Amazon.
Edited due to "not permitting to bookmark links, send them in emails/newsletters, post in Kindle books, or use them in any other offline manner" being an old rule.
