Getting Through The Valleys

I didn't know what I was going to write about until I tried to load an image.

I haven't been too happy with my progress so far (just being honest) and haven't met the milestones I had set out for myself. I spend less time working on my site than I planned and all in all, it's just disappointing.

But trying to drag that photo for this blog to the right spot up there just didn't work. And I spent 15 minutes trying to figure it out, getting completely frustrated. I only stopped because it became part of the story. And out of frustration grew realization.

There is so much I don't know about what I'm doing.

And that's ok.

I've worked in construction my whole life. I've always worked on the hardware side of things. So the software part can eat a lot of time.

There's going to be a ton of things I don't know and understand and it's going to take time. The more I get into it, the more I realize I need to learn.

And I'm reminded of a horoscope puzzle I was given years ago and framed.

You can't get much clearer than that.
