Do Not Give Up!
I found WA at the beginning of the year and started my website. I worked diligently and followed the lessons. Three and a half months later I had almost no traffic and no sales.
I had paid $5 a few times on fiver to promote posts on social media with poor results.
I decided to do it again. The day my latest post was promoted I woke up and checked Google Analytics and there were 100 people on my site at that moment. This went on all day and I almost went into shock the next day when I checked and 15,000 people had been on my site.
After recovering I decided well maybe I had finally gotten a sale. Checked Amazon and not only had I gotten my first sale but 300 more. WAHOO
That was a month ago and I continue to get a few sales every day.
I have also checked my posts periodically and they have never even showed up on the first 10 pages of Google. Well low and behold I just checked my last two posts and both are on page one.
When people here tell you to stick with the program and things will start to happen if you are patient: Believe Them.
Plug away and do not give up.

Love this!! One of my favorite books is the compound effect. Your post reminds me of the main principle that consistency is key.
Such awesome news Scott, so wonderful to hear about your success. Your story is very much like mine, the first few months were spent "learning the ropes" and building my foundation.
And then boom, the reality (and awesomeness) of the Internet struck. A sale...then another...and the a bunch more.
Here I am, 13 years later being full time online. Again, my story is no different than yours and there was a time I knew nothing about the Internet!
