I suppose it was too much to ask for. I have hit the dreaded "Writers Block" It has taken 15 minuets to get this much out and I have NO fingernails left. Normally writing comes just as naturally as breathing, but sometimes you just have to "Prime the pump" before things free up and flow. My idea for today's blog was flow.
Flow, is the natural rhythm by which all things move. In human form it is grace, and in prose, it is the meter of the piece. All things alive have flow, and I think that as marketers, we should examine the FLOW of each website. We have to look at it from the perspective of the client/buyer.

Each client comes to your site for one thing. PURCHASE! That is what a man who is looking for an engagement ring for his intended is going to do. He might use the internet if he feels he has time, but 63% do this on a spur of the moment. Ex: He passes YHD Jewelry store, and sees the massive display of diamonds in the window. Something clicked and he has already bought the ring before he realizes it. He then feels very stupid and used because he feels that he was suckered into the purchase. Then he feels guilty for feeling that way (Hay the store gotta make money too) and he has taken the next step before he realizes it. He gives her the ring and ask her to marry him.

This example was to prove one thing. For the most part, internet marketing is a "Next Generation" item. If the website is not designed to flow from sight to purchase, then you chances of making a lot of money are slim. If your sales are down then look at a possible redesign of your site. There is a term "EYE CANDY" Your sight has to have that before the first sale is ever made, and will probably be made because of it.

I hope that this ramble helps you focous in on what you need in a site, and untill later, may God bless.

:) Thanks for this. I enjoyed!

You "hope" they are there to purchase. Many people on the internet are looking for information. If you are able to provide a solution to their problem they may be receptive to buying from you.

Keep in mind that not all of your customers are there for the same reason and look carefully at the niche customers to make sure you are providing what they really want.

Yeah, that's similar to what I was thinking...

Sorry to hear about the no fingernails left on your nubs. I'm do the pick and poke way of typing. I purchased a copy of Dragon's Naturally Speaking. It makes it so much easier than typing. I don't know if you've tried it, but if you haven't given a look. This message has been brought to you by Dragon's NaturallySpeaking. Not to mention I'm a very poor speller Dragon really helps with that.
Much success.

I try to make my sites as if every client comes to my site for one thing, but I think that is information. If you can help people learn, or help them solve a problem, then they are more likely to buy what you are selling. However, if you come across as a salesperson, I think that most people are turned off by that, and they will just go to the next site.
