So now that you are thinking "I will be happier when I retire in a few years". When the time has arrived then you are thinking how do I adjust to my new life? Simply, you're back to point A, asking the very same question or telling yourself the same old thing. The bottom line is happiness is really a state of mind. Life happened to all of us but how we respond to them is a choice. Unfortunately, many of us has been programmed to think and see things in a very muddy perspective mindset. Instead of seeing the blessings that we currently have, we choose to see the wishes and want of our future desires. We weren't taught about the laws of attraction. We aren't taught about the idea of manifesting our desires into reality. Your mind is the soil from which whatever seeds we plant and it will be revealed and harvested in their due time as we apply our daily persistenct care to them. One thing many people have mentioned about this is that just as farmers till their land and sow their seeds with much care, they also rely on rain, sunshine and the rich minerals of the soil and the like to which I refer to the spiritual aspects of life force-- the co-creative force, allowing a choice of free will to do or not do. In many cultures, it's perceived to be a sin to lay around idle.Proverb 10:4(niv) says "Lazy hands makes for poverty but diligent hands bring wealth."

Knowing your life purpose will sustain your reason for why being the you who you are meant to be especially when you may be dealing with tough times or going through rough period of losing someone that we hold so strongly onto and to which we attached our identity to, like when losing a job or beloved mother or a spouse to infidelity,etc. We need to accept the single reality that all things have their seasons.There's birth, growing phases and eventually death.When we were young, aging is not anywhere near our thinking. In fact, many of us once think that aging will be a long time. Some of you think that lots of money will make you happy. Lots of money will help but not guaranteeing that you will be happier. You know many famous Hollywoods celebrities like Robin Williams, Anthony Boudain and the like have taken their own life? Happiness is not necessarily about having lots of money. You can get lots of money through inheritance or winng a lottery or rob the bank, you know those stories don't end well.
