Progress Update! Been a little quiet on here. and I still value you all!

Hi All,

I realise I haven't been in touch that much for the past couple of weeks - somehow I am still ranked in the Top 100 and while I am not focussed on the numbers, I would hate to think that I was giving less value to others.

Time has been quite short, however. I have soooooo many things I still want to do with my site - and I am only really managing to write one blog on my website a week. If something comes up and I need to spend time on other things on my site, I end up not doing that blog. I love writing... and I do find it hard to pull my thoughts together - it takes me time to write. I would love to write two or three blogs in the day that I have set aside for this, but it seems to take me the entire day to do the necessary research, write one blog, get the images together....

Consistency has not been my finest point - but I am not going to bash myself. I am doing this amidst some really big challenges - one of which is that I am a WAHM (work-at-home-mum) - the other being that I need to also create some immediate income while I get my website working for me, and the other as I have discussed in other posts, is to do with my husbands job. Any one of these things working out for us would make things a lot different and at the moment, it remains a challenge! And I am considering this as a period in time... not as a permanent issue!

I actually have a looooooong list of all the things I want to write about. It's finding the time to write about them all. It's also time to monetise - a month ago, I was accepted as an affiliate for two programmes but I have been challenged about which way to go with it. I am finding writing a review much more challenging than writing a simple blog! Your tips on this would be appreciated, if you have any!

Also getting to the emails from WA in my inbox has been tough the last week or so. I need to get more organised with this - I want to give back (and also pay forward) to the community so I need to find a system for going through these emails and giving. Because like I said, consistency in helping out on here has also been a little inconsistent too! I have trainings that I want to write but those are also still only ideas in my head, rather than me breathing life into those ideas!

So I do have some challenges..... AND there is some good news...

I am aware that I want success in IM more than ever - I have fallen in love with my niche. I find myself feeling really passionate about the topics I am writing about! To love your niche is a very helpful thing!

I also have a strong reason and urge to keep going at this - so each time, I start falling behind, I get back on the horse and start working again! So my posts might be inconsistent but they never stop... I always get back to it!

And the other good news is that my number of visitors is slowly but surely starting to rise... each month just little by little, I am getting a bit more traffic! I still have some way to go as I have just realised my keyword research needs a bit more work, but I am making headway!

Anyway, just wanted to check in with you all - fill you in on progress! I would also love to hear about your progress - tell me below what you have been up to!
