Starting the comeback
Hi, guys! It has been a long time since I posted on my WA blog, I thought it was time to update it.
If you take a look at it, you can see that my last blog post was about how Amazon rejected me. Well, I won't deny it, It was a tough blow for me to take, so hard it was that kept me aside of Internet Marketing for a while. Of course, this wasn't the only factor, but it was an important one.
Fortunately, I never let go WA, even though I wasn't producing any content or promoting websites, at least I kept reading every post, watching every training.
And finally, i decided to make my comeback.
I took my rejected site, https://geekassemble.com , I added new and fresh content to it, trying to follow the WA training guidelines, and very slowly organic traffic started to pour in.
It has been only a month, but even with small traffic, like 3 or 4 organic visits a day, during that month (I'm talking about May) I was able to get 100 organic visitors.
Maybe it doesn't seem like much, but 100 "real" visitors on your site its a big thing for me.
Based on that, my hurt confidence was healed a little bit, so I went for the next step.
I reapplied for Amazon, and at the same time, I started to drive social traffic to my site just using the tools provided here at the training.
On my first day of social sharing, I got more than 40 visits to my site, with an average duration of 4 minutes!!! And what is most important, I got 10 Amazon links clicks!!!
I won't lie, I'm very nervous and afraid, I'm frightened that Amazon rejects me again (as you know Amazon only checks your site after the first sale), so I keep refreshing my inbox to see if an Amazon email drops in.
But overall I'm happy; I have the feeling that If I keep pushing, creating quality content, maybe I could be on the verge of a breakthrough, who knows!
Anyway, I will keep reporting as this story unfolds!
Thanks a lot for taking the time to read this post, and keep it up!
Best regards
