Writing Block
Well it did not take me long to find out my first sumbling block. I can write emails all day long to friends and family. Actually, I can be quite wordy. So now I am doing the assigment 'About Me' and wrote it once, changed it, edited it, then edited again. Did not think it was 'good' enough. I fell into the trap of 'Better is the enemy of Good!'. I left it thinking I would come back and just finish the assignment. Alas, I used many diversions to not finish; dogs, dishes, cleaning, tired, maybe later, etc.
Yes, I am overthinking this. Something about the word Publish causes me to look at my writing with very critical eyes. Does the word FEAR enter anyones minds at this point. LOL. I have surprised myself. It sneaked up on me.

How about pretending you are writing your posts and introductions to a new friend as that is where your strength is. Find a pic of someone you think represents your target audience - give them a name you like and write your posts to them.

Hi Sandy
Write as if you are sharing with a friend. The more natural your writing the more trust you will gain from your readers as you grow so all the best
You have got this!!

I agree, thank you. If I do not overthink and just write, that helps too
