Don't Get Distracted By Social Media
So I decided to launch my first Facebook ad. Like mentioned in the training, I did my best not to spend my time on there. Everytime I looked at those numbers they gave me a false sense of success which tempted me to create more posts. Site content is where the money is though, without a good amount of content for people to engage with the less likely they are to stick around or return.
I posted several posted on there which received a surprising amount of engagement. But not enough for people to reach out and communicate with me because of my lack of site content.
I want to throw it out there that social media absolutely works! But make sure you have a comprehensive, well-rounded website before using it to bring in traffic.
I've talked to three people and referred one today.
I had the potential to bring in much more referrals had my content been more understandable. I lost a lot of people on my homepage and most people didn't bother reading my blog posts. Much needed website organizing will be in the works tonight.
25 New Users!
My website traffic took off. By using a few social media posts on my Facebook, Twitter and Instagram posts I was able to bring in 26 new users after bouncing up and down a few clicks a day by bringing in traffic.
This is my 3 month mark working on my website with 12 blog posts, 1 and 1?2 courses made, some eBooks and a WA promotion page.
Stay on track with site content and balancing social media posts. Without proper site content you won't be able to gain those returning customers. I'm still doing some pretty heavy work on my site daily and I hope to have a good following in no time!
Thanks for reading my little progress and small milestone in my websites earl stages :)
Stay motivated!
Best of luck,
Brandon.

Hi, Brandon, you are making good progress, at some point, things start coming together, the key can be to keep plugging away. Results can be built on, and the best way to learn about paid ads is to start running them.
Well done and all te best as you continue to develop your online presence.
Alex
Thanks Alex,
Thanks really appreciated. I'm looking forward to seeing the outcome of daily input and persistence in content.
Time to test new methods!
Take care,
Brandon
Well done Brandon
In order for us to be successful in this affiliate marketing business we need to be open to many different methods to attract visitors to our websites. In the end, I personally believe, that content writing will always be the main one , followed closely by social media. Jim
Thanks Jim, I absolutely agree. As I've found out today after losing majority of those that came to my site. It will be much better soon.
Also thank you for the follow, I gave you one back. I'm always looking to network and learn from one another.
Take care,
Brandon
