Setting Up My Affiliate Link

It's Tuesday night my plan was to come in from work, and try to get sohttps://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/home#me content writing in.

But as I set up my template to begin writing, I decided to step back to anwer a few emails instead, I want to welcome everyone here to Wealthy Affiliates... I want to give a shout out to all of those following me here, and to those that are on the way.

I've been having fun writng content, but tonight I had to check myself a little, remember that this is a marathon not a sprint...

My affiliate Link Issue

On yesterday while doing keyword research for my voice over site, I decided that I needed to promote a few more links, so I went to fiverr to register as an affiliate but I couldn't get my password to work it kept giving me an error message.

I couldn't figure out the problem user name, password click and paste no problem I got this press enter and done, everytime I logged in error password or user name wrong, did I write it down, yes, did I make sure that it was case sensitive check.

Third Attempt Lockout

Now I'm sure that you are familiar with the Google password management feature, It saves all of your user name and password so you won't have to worry about writing them down or losing them.

So I went to my Google password management system, found it copy paste the password then entered it in to fiverr again, Error. Password Or User Name wrong.

Okay now I'm a bit frustrated, I can't login It's late so I hit forgot my password then waited for them to send it to my email, grabbed the link copy pasted it to my fiverr affiliate account login then...Error...to many attempts!

I forgot about the three try rule lockout, so I went to bet upset feeling that I didn't get anything done

So what happened why the lockout, why did I have to wait 24hrs before I could try to setup another password?

Well...Today I checked my email messages and saw an email from fiverr with a password.

As an affiliate, I Had gotten used to the Idea of just copy pasting everything, so in my excitement of trying to log into as many affiliate sites that I could get my hands on!!!! lol just kidding guys, I only wanted to try four.

There are some affiliate sites that won't let you copy paste a password on their site, It's a security measure to make sure that I'm a real person, a fraud prevention login feature.

So...what did I learn about buiding my business using affiliate links...It's a marathon for me to instead of just pasting and click everything slow down and take the time to read fine print.

Affiliate Signing Up Rules

Today I learned that with millions of different affiliate sites available online, It's easy to slip into making money more than helping people, I realize that I'm not here just to make money, I want to be able to help people reach there full potential creating their own online business.

I've seen enough people wishing that they had more time to do the things that they wanted to do, life is to short to hold grudges, or be angry with regret, enjoy living in the present and staying focused, while working hard to reach your dreams.

I almost forgot every affiliate site has rules for signing up, and different private policy rules, and though we will be able to be apart of many different affiliate programs, our first goal should be helping people not just making money.
