I wish I could give everyone a farm!

We are only 17km from the closest town, so not generally isolated. Under normal circumstances, we hardly get time to enjoy our surroundings between work, school runs and lodge guests. We are often working on the farm, but there's never any time to slow down.

I wish I could give everyone a farm because people would be able to provide food for themselves and not panic buy out of fear of shortage.... I think farm people sometimes do panic canning! 😂

The biggest gift of this whole covid drama has been time!

Time to appreciate nature around us, time to speak with my kids and even time to contemplate life. Time to remember that it's important to slow down and smell the roses.

More time at home has also improved my online business practice, as I have time to write articles, and test new theories. I write blogs about mental wellness as well as working online, and even after only a week I'm brimming with article ideas which I'll start processing this week.

My thoughts are with those who are really sick, those who have lost family members, but importantly also with those who are suffering because they have to stay home.
