My Progress So Far. Nine weeks into my training.
Hi, Everybody. I signed up for Wealthy Affiliates just nine short weeks ago on April 2, 2019. I knew how to type, send email and search on google. I had a Facebook account. That's about it.
I had tried starting a website about five years ago and couldn't even set up a wordpress account. I just didn't have the technical skills. I had a go-daddy domain but didn't even know why, really.
So here I am, only NINE WEEKS later. I have a domain that I use every day to post articles/posts about a favorite topic of mine, Bow Hunting and Archery.
I have learned how to create posts in WordPress and get them posted onto the world wide web, for all to see. I have learned so much, Like how to use SEO to my advantage to make my sites appear on google near the top of the first page.
I have learned how to use widgets, plugins and themes. I can get a domain, choose a niche for my very own affiliate business and I know how to monetize my site. That is huge for me!!!
Nine weeks ago I didn't even know what SEO, widgets or any of this stuff meant. I see a bright future for me now that I have started this training here at Wealthy Affiliates.
I tried learning on YouTube before, but i just got lost. Now, I can follow along pretty well and know what they are talking about. It's quite a transformation for me. Oh, I have also learned how to share my articles from my website to Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter and Instagram.
I know I have learned more than this and I will continue my training and site building with even more training from Wealthy Affiliate. If you want to see my site in progress, drop me a P.M. or email and I'll share a link with you.

Everybody have a wonderful day. I know I'm enjoying mine.

Being here less than a year and being a complete newbie, all the new terminology was my biggest problem. I could not read a paragraph in the training without having to pull out my glossary.
Print the glossary out and it makes the first few months go smoother. Good luck and continued success.
Here is that glossary. Internet marketing glossary for beginners and vets Mark
I still use the question bar at the top of the page every day.
