You can register a domain outside of WA but, if you want to use it with a Site here at WA, you need to be a Premium member. Free Starter members only have the option to use a subdomain at siterubix.com.
Thank you for your response. If I already a premium member and buy a domain outside, will my site still get the premium features such as ssl and etc after I transfer the domain to my siterubix site here?
Ahhh..I didn't notice the star indicating your premium status.
So here are your options:
1) You can transfer the domain if you wish.
2) You can leave it with your current registrar and simply change the name servers to WA's. Once you do that and verify it here, you can use it as if it were here.
Either way, you'll have access to all of the features and services here, like SSL.
