Hey, I’m Sami, I am from North London, England. I'm a stay-at-home mother, but I run my own Network Marketing business from home very part-time

Authoring & Writing Content

What is your best method to writing content for your websites? Do you have a routine? Check list? How often do you add content once you have an established site?

All super helpful! Thank you so much guys. I think I need to make better use of Jaxxy and just dive in and get writing. Thank you all ever so much, I'm very grateful for your time :)

I write only things I know about as I am speaking to a friend.

Research is something that, if needed, must be done AFTER the selection of several keywords/phrases. Then I just sit down and write. I have been writing many articles, mainly for others, for years, so I can sit and write and write and write.

I have been slacking off of posting current material on my site, but the original plan calls for two times a week.

I start with good research and let my writing muse take over Sami!

Hi Samanzana, I am a bit like Daniel, I choose from one of my categories and look for long tail keywords in Jaxxy, within that category that have a reasonable amount of searches and as low a competition as I can find.
Then I just start to build a post around that in my own personal style.

I think the general concensus of opinion seems to be, even when your site is established, to post something new on a consistent basis once a week, or as regular as you can. The main thing is if you can do it once a week, then stick to the same day each week as then the Google Bots will get used to finding your content and return to search each week at the same time.

So far, what I've done is look through a list of viable keywords (from Jaaxy) and try to shape a post around that. Now, obviously I want to avoid titles and content that looks unnatural, so I take into account the overall feel of my own website, putting a personal spin on it.
