Promoting Wealthy Affiliate as a Beginner to Affiliate Marketing?
I'm enjoying this training and Jay's videos immensely. I have no complaints. But I have doubts. That sounds weird, I'm sure, but let me explain. I have learned a lot and I know how to apply it up until this point. I started visuallizing my home page, my cornerstone article, my product offer, but I suddenly came to a screeching hult.
How am I going to promote Wealthy Affiliate as a beginner to affiliate marketing?
Being an authority gives you super powers. How do I know the tips, tricks, resources, and "dos and don'ts" when I don't know them myself?

I am using my WA Blog to document my Affiliate Marketing Journey. So far as tips, tricks, and resources. WA is my resource for current information in this ever-changing world of internet marketing.
Great idea too. So I could really benefit from becoming more familiar with the entire Wealthy Affiliate platform as well!
Thank you
Hi Samantha,
Welcome to the WA community. I must say the best thing you can do is to start off by focusing on your content, and your website design.
To learn the do's and don'ts, tips and tricks you must first put them into play for yourself. The only way we can learn them is by trying, and asking for help.
The best thing about this community is just that we are a community looking to help everyone be successful. That includes learning all the tips and tricks on how to accurately promote WA or any affiliate program to other people.
I don't do any WA marketing on my webstie. I do put it on my facebook page, pinterest page, and twitter page. This way people can click over and look for themselves. Most of all I encourage engagement so I can tell others what I love about WA. You don't have to know all the in's and outs of it all you just have to sell them on what you love about WA, and they will come just to see what has gotten you so excited.
Once they are here then you can show them about the community , and support them so they can feel apart of the excitement while creating their content.
Best of luck to you on your journey. Please reach out if you need help. Patience will show you the rewards in due time. Content is your best friend.

I'm really glad that you added patience and content there at the end! I feel that. I will keep moving forward on content, and building it in a way that I can share my excitement about WA. I also like that you promote WA through social media, and separate from your website. I will look into that as well. Maybe that's for me too.
Thank you
Hey Samantha,
I am glad you found my post to keep you motivated. We get so impatient that we don't give the process time to work. So make sure you stay patient, and don't give up.
With WA I do use social media to promote them. I don't spam my link as that doesn't work. The biggest thing we can do is educate people on what WA is, and how it works. Talk to people, and share you excitement. Spamming is just that Spam, and people don't respond.
Best wishes on your journey.
Kevin
Welcome to WA Samantha and all the best moving through the training and building success online. step by step everything will form a picture for you, so relax and go for it!
A truly great choice indeed

I've been here since 2014, but left and come back twice. Tried about 15 websites in that time, with most of my failures being my own doing. I've not been consistent or persistent enough.
However, through all my ups and downs, I've learned so much. The last 18 months I've been building my WA site, getting more authority as I go. Some of my posts are the 'do's & don't's' as you put them, many are reviews of other digital products.
This whole thing is a learning process. I suppose I'm able to create a WA promotional site because of my experiences.
If I was to start again though, I'd do a niche website. These are so much easier to rank for.
I'd also have a WA site on the side which will rank in the search engines over time. I would do 90% reviews of other digital products, but maybe only 1 post per week, while putting most of my efforts into a niche site.
Here's how you can fine digital products How to Find Products to Review in the Make Money Online Niche? Down the track you can add more to your WA promotional site, which will have gained more authority.
Just my thoughts
I really like this idea. It makes complete sense to me. My thoughts are that it is easier to have experience to share as an affiliate who has had some success in selling already.
Thank you
