What to do when you are feeling overwhelming?
We are into the 3rd week. Building the website, looking for theme, writing contents and review, searching for keywords to target to the right audience and getting pretty affiliate links and banners up as well as comments in placed. All these arerather taxing for working parents with young children like us to handle. We ignored Kyle's advise to take a break in between and continue to burn our precious 2 hours every night working on our website. Both of us really hope to learn and get everything done up as soon as possible and start earning money online.
Finally, we realized that rushing through the lessons do not work on us since we only have that precious 2 hours to work on at night. Wedecided to slow down and take a break for a few days to get things back in order.
During these few days, no more brainstorming. No more SEO, Plugin, traffic...etc...😀. Our precious time are spent on reading up books and doing online research for idea....rest and relax and go to bed before wee hours.
Now, we are recharged and ready to embark into the next Phase! Really can't wait to publish our website and experience the 1st sale! 😊

When I first started homeschooling my kids, the first piece of advise I was given by experienced homeschool moms was: Do NOT burn yourself out! If you do, otherwise, you are useless to your kids and to yourself. The past couple of days, I took off from WA, to spend time with my now grown daughter. And as I turn back to face my next WA lesson, it doesn't feel so overwhelming. I always have to remind myself, that I get more done, if I am refreshed and renewed. I can think more clearly. And be more useful and supportive for others. Yep, it is important to take breaks and breath!
Great to take a break. I find after a short break I come back to the work at hand with new eyes and fresh ideas. Keep it up guys!
You don't need to hurry Karyn! I just followed the lessons in my first month because I didn't know anything about building a website and online business. You have a lot of time,no rush! Best wishes...

Like you I am spending time on reading up books about blogging, content marketing and other topics. That is the reason why I have taken a little slower lessons at WA.
The best for you.
