My first obligatory WA blog post - here goes!

It has been just over a month that I started this journey with WA and while I am extremely excited and committed to building my website, I have to admit I have lost a bit of steam recently.

I currently work a full time job that is demanding and sometimes requires me to put in 12 hours a day. When I get home, sometimes the last thing I want to do is log on and do more work. But then I take a step back and remember why I started doing this whole WA thing - to eventually get out of my full time job (I am extremely grateful to be employed but each day I feel more miserable at the job I'm currently doing).

I realize this whole website/blog/affiliate marketing thing doesn't even feel like "work" since I enjoy it and know that I am "working" for myself and not anyone else. This is what motivates me to stick with it.

The niche I've chosen falls in the lifestyle category (I think)? I blog about my life experiences and offer advice from the perspective of a 40-year old, single woman with no kids, living in the Big Apple. Since turning 40 I've realized things are just different and being single at this age also puts another interesting spin on things from dating, to career changes, to skin care, to fitness and nutrition, how others perceive you etc.

Over the next few months I would really like to continue to stay focused on writing more articles, consistently and frequently. With the training I've done so far it seems like that is ultimately the best thing to keep the momentum.

Once I seem to have built some sort of cadence with the blog, I'm looking at other entrepreneurial endeavors - basically anything that generates an income (active and passive) and being my own boss. The end goal for me is to build something that will allow me to create a life that I don't ever need to take a vacation from!

So with my first WA post under my belt, here's to financial freedom and enjoying life on your terms! Thanks for taking the time to read and I wish you all the best.
