I have a problem with my homepage and product pages. I have a gap between the last templet and footer. I have tried to adjust padding and the footer doesn't give me any options
I went to the home of the theme here...https://athemes.com/theme/sydney/
clicked on demo and scrolled to the bottom.
It looks like it may be a place designed into the theme for social icons. I would look in widgets first, and maybe contact theme support
ok What i found that was cause the issues was on the page settings. I had both the product page and the home page set on "full width" on the templet settings. I changed the settings to front page on both pages and the distortions are gone.. Don't really know why but its gone.. thanks for checking it out for me.

Hi Richard.
Seems like you need to disable a few widgets to troubleshoot and see what is causing the main content area wrapper to distort.
Is this how you want it to look? See image attached
Start by removing your background image...social widget etc.
I was able to do this by commenting out the .entry-footer class
but it seems there is a conflict with panel-grid panel-has-style for the social panel.
Yes that the way the way i wanted it to look. I will try to remove some things and see if it works.. thanks

This may seem silly, but i have struggled with posts/blog. I have no problem creating a post, but where this gets frustrating for me is actually getting on the website in the b
It depends on how you have your website set up. If it's setup so that the home page is your blog roll, then by default all the posts you make will be added there. Some, like myself, have a static page homepage, which means that instead of being greeted by a blog roll, my audience is greeted by a static page where they can then navigate to my posts.
When you write your posts, you'd probably want to categorize them by their content instead of just putting all of them into the "blog" category. Most will have a handful of main categories and each post will go into a specific one of those main categories. If you just put them all in one category "blog" then there's no real point in categorizing them.
Thanks for the reply.. yes i will categorize them. With my particular niche' they are interrelated where one condition usually dove tails with another. I am working with mental health causes and triggers with real solutions on minimizing or shortening episodes.
The trouble I was having was getting additional posts to post lol. The stressing of the settings that Terry shared should be really stressed much more in WA certification course. Well I hope you have a great week.
When you are creating in site rubix it is either post or page. The problem tends to be that you need to create a tab in a menu for them to show. Can you post a link to your site so I can look at it. Here is one of mine to give you an idea
https://mental-health-treatments.com/
Pages are stand alone where as posts tend to be a collection of an assortment of articles
That is what i am trying to do also.. I cant seem to get the my blogs to cascade like that and not sure what to do..
https://livingstressfree.net/blog
if you look my page which our content is surprisingly similar you can see what I'm talking about. I made some pages under the blog as pull down menu but I really want to have my articles in the actual blog page like yours is..
K, there is a setting in your site - setting - reading - it will ask between a static page or your latest blogs, pick the latter
my menu consists of categories just to make it easier to navigate. To be honest I am not crazy about your background as it makes it hard to read. Not sure how Google is going to react to having so many affiliate links on your front page
Terry I really appreciate that.. That was a setting i never knew about or at least don't recall seeing.. that worked and now I can go and play with it a bit.. thanks again.. Rich
really.. well i could remove them and leave it the product link to the page.. its a work in progress
