Giving quality site feedback
The great thing about WA is the ability to get feedback about your site and comments onto your site.
When I am giving site feedback (as opposed to site comments) I have decided to follow the old Toastmasters school of feedback of CRC.
That is:
Commendation(s) (say something that the person is doing well and you would like to reinforce)
Recommendation(s) (explain an area or areas that can be worked on and how it can be improved. You shouldn't just say something is bad without providing constructive ideas on how it could be better.)
Commendation (say something that the person is doing well and you would like to reinforce)
Some people call it a sh*t sandwich because saying the good stuff makes it easier to swallow the bad in the middle.
I disagree because the piece in the middle is the good stuff. It tells you how to be better. To me, there is no such thing as perfection and I always strive to be better and hunger for constructive suggestions on how to make my website better.
If done correctly, WA is a brilliant forum to provide good quality feedback to help all of our sites.
If you haven't reviewed a site, or offered to make a comment, start today.
All the best

I want really honest suggestions. I am just beginning and the only way I will know if it is wrong is if somebody tells me. As a retired speech teacher, I always told the students you are not criticising, you are offering suggestions as to what they can do better the next time. Tell them what they did well and offer suggestions about what they can work on.
