It's that old (or is it new) chestnut again... SiteComments.

I'm going to be completely frank. I'm not doing the Affiliate Boot Camp (furthermore known as ABC) just yet. I have my own niche which I am working on and it takes up quite a lot of my time, as does my own business, and various household duties as I'm sure you all can appreciate. So, as a result, I have not clicked on 'finance' as one of my interests on the SiteComments section.

So why, oh why, oh why, oh why, OH WHY do various 'make money from home' websites keep appearing on my list of comments???? In particular those who have written a review on WA itself.... Now, I'm not one for conspiracy theories, but bloomin heck, that's just a tad too obvious is it not???

I've just written a post. And I'd like some comments on it. I'd already left one comment on another post giving me one credit, so I go in and I leave the following comment on a website about tinnitus:

Not unique??? Really??? Someone else has posted about a Lady Gaga concert and a guy in work who complained about his own tinnitus???? Ok ok ok ok ok, let's supposing that this is true (hey, it's possible, right?) so I think, fine... I'll go and leave another comment elsewhere before I ask for comments on mine.

And what is the website repeatedly coming up for me to comment on??? Yep, a 'make money from home' website (ABC). I've refreshed, signed out, signed back in again, went and played some Criminal Case (always looking for new Team Mates so PM me...) but still, I was faced with the exact same website to comment on. So I did what any self respecting website-owner-who-was-looking-for-comments would do.... I shamelessly left a typical and totally expected comment on the post just to get my second credit to enable me to get my own comments.

I'm not happy about this. I have not ticked 'finance' as an interest and I don't appreciate being forced to leave a comment on anything that I don't have an interest in.

Up until now, I've resisted specifying the type of site (ABC), but it's got to the point that I can't actually take it anymore. When a site does come up that's nothing to do with finance I'm delighted and I spend ages reading the post and then (probably overdoing it) writing a relevant response. It's such a joy!!

I'm sure I've ticked a few people off here right now, and that's only to be expected. But sincerely, if you hadn't ticked 'hobbies' and my posts kept coming up on your page to comment on, I'd totally understand your frustration.

Sort this out WA. Please. Because all that's going to happen is that ABC websites will just have meaningless jargon on their comments. And no one wants that. Because WA is actually an amazing platform and a brilliant concept that works fantastically well all by itself without all the crap.

Rant over. I'm away to dance with J.C. Jacobsen. Good night all xxx
