Boy, I've Come a Long Way
So I have now been a Premium Member of Wealthy Affiliate for a little over a month, and I must say that I am very proud of myself. For years I have been reading a lot of self help books and looking for different ways to earn an income on my own, so I don't feel tied down to the 9-5 days and 40 hour work-week. I have tried a few different things, but always seem to never really gain steam due to disinterest for the actual topic. Wealthy Affiliate has completely changed that because it has allowed me to work on something I am passionate about, but still retain the freedom that I have always desired. This lead to the birth of my website, homefitnessfamily.com. I have thoroughly enjoyed creating content for the website. The feeling of being able to help people reach their fitness goals from home is so empowering for me.
The one challenge I have faced so far is my consistency with working on content. Since I am still working another job, I find that life gets in the way of me being able to learn through WA and use that knowledge to turn my website in to my career. I know with patience and effort it will work out for me, but since I enjoy it so much I wish it could be my full-time job sooner. I am still proud of always making time to do what I can to my website though, and how far it has come in the month it has been live.
I have still yet to complete a sale with my website, but my goal is to complete that within the next 3 months. I am hoping for more than just one sale in that time frame, but as long as I complete 1 I will be happy. I know once I complete my first sale I will be ecstatic, and put that much more time and effort in to my site. I plan on being able to make a consistent income within 6 months by ranking my website higher with google, and targeting keywords that generate more sales. My goal is by the 6 month mark to be working full time as an affiliate or very close to it. I know this will require a lot of work, but I know I am more than capable of making it happen.
