In need of a pick-me-up

Hey all,

blogging this topic because I feel like it is something most of us just starting out having a difficult time with. But then again, maybe it could just be me. I’ll be wrapping up my third week in the community and following along with the trainings, to the letter the best I can. I’ve even rewatched many of the trainings but I’m still struggling to hit those keywords or post designs to get google indexed.

My first two blog posts on my website we indexed within the first hour or so of being published so I know the trainings work but since those first two posts I have only made the content more appealing using the trainings - that’s the frustrating part. I’m not sure exactly where I’m going wrong. I know it takes time and not every blog will end up being indexed but my last few posts focused on the “low hanging fruit” model and have very little competition.

Anyways, like I said this was more of a get it off my chest post and vent sort of deal but if you are also struggling, just know you aren’t alone. Let me know below if you had struggles or successes on the subject and if there were ways you overcame it.

I’m going to keep plugging away and posting more content applying what I continue to learn. It won’t deter me from my goals and I will preserve, just as you are going to or already have. You all continue to inspire and motivate me to keep trying so any words of encouragement would greatly be appreciated.

Warm regards,

Ryan

You'll be fine Ryan... just keep on learning and doing what you are doing my friend and everything will fall into place in the future!

Hi Ryan, I know it's frustrating in the beginning, and that's why you need to have patience. The articles will all be indexed, but not all will rank on page one. That's just the nature of Google.
They don't know who you are yet, and will test the ranking positions to see what answers the public's queries the best.
The important thing is to keep creating the most valuable and helpful content you can, with your audience's question being the focal point.
Once Google sees you getting traffic, they'll rank those articles higher because they'll know that's what the user is searching for.
It's a long-term game, which can be difficult for beginners to grasp, haha.
So keep doing what you're doing, and eventually, they'll start to rank, ok? It's still way too early for Google to know you!
Hope this helps,
Suzanne

You'll be fine man just keep doing what you're doing. And don't overdo site designs etc and all the bells and whistles. Just focus on content and completing the training. If your site is hooked up to Google Search console you can request that each of your posts get indexed this had an immense impact on my posts being indexed.
