My Plans
Let me start off by saying I am an excellent project starter, but not as good of a project finisher. So the fact that I am still here, working towards my goals in wealthy affiliate (and enjoying myself in the process!) is amazing to me. I flew through the first course but as life got busy I had to slow down a little. I am now almost done with the second course so I am definitely making progress!
Eventually I want to make several websites in niches I'm interested in, some of which include plants, outdoor recreation, home decor, clothing, health/exercise, and photography. However, I chose wedding planning for my first niche since it is the one I have the most experience and interest in. It has been an exciting process so far and I'm determined to see this through.
I won't totally sugar coat how things have been so far, because I have definitely hit some road blocks. I had to learn some things by trial and error before I learned to really rely on all the resources WA has to offer! Once I started doing that things became a lot easier for me and my road blocks became just a bump in the road.
I believe that goal setting is a great way to keep you on track and working toward something. So, my goal is that within the next three months I will have my website totally up and running smoothly AND make my first sale (however small the $ amount may be). My goal in the next 6 months is to be making at least $500 a month from my wedding planning website AND start on a second niche and setting up a website for it.
Guess I better get to work!

Setting goals is a good idea. They might not be realistic but are at least something to shoot for. Expect to re-evaluate them as time progresses.
I recommend only one niche at a time. I sounds like you have a variety of interests but if you spread your time and energy among several sites, none of them will be overly successful. I have been there, I know from whence I speak.
Setting goals is the key Rachel. You are able to measure the progress that you are making.
