My First Facebook Reel And Progress
I started my Facebook page around two months ago, so I thought I would give a video update of what's happening. I'm not the greatest fan of Facebook, having had a few Facebook pages several years ago and then Facebook closing down my personal account, for no reason, which had pages attached to the profile. I never did know why the profile was taken down. Interestingly enough, the Facebook pages stayed alive for a good 12 months, but I couldn't get to them to edit them, classic Facebook behaviour!! I also find Facebook a very clunky platform, however, they do seem to have introduced some new tools to help users grow their page, which is good.
I think it was on Christmas Eve that I created my first Facebook Reel, I create lots of YouTube videos, but seemed to struggle to create a Facebook Reel, I think this is due to the fact that most reels are created on a camera, whereas I use my computer and Camtasia, but just resized the canvas to 1080 x 920, which appeared to work well
Take a look at the video and please feel free to comment, I'm interested to learn how other members are doing with their Facebook pages.
Thank you for watching.

Thank you, Terry, I am just trying to document my journey and share things, as I learn.

Thank you, Mel, I appreciate that.
Do you have a Facebook page, Mel?
Anyway, I appreciate you taking the time to comment.
A very happy New Year to you.
Roy
You are most welcome Roy.
I might have some pages, but I haven't used them in a loooong time.
Mel
I experimented with Facebook pages many years ago, Mel, and in the early days they were quite powerful, especially if the name of your page was related to your product. So for example, I had a page called everything for the garden, so people knew exactly what I was about, that's powerful!
However, I think Facebook was then sold and they stopped pushing Facebook business pages, which made them fairly worthless. However, I do believe that things have changed for the better, or at least I'm led to believe that!
Let's see what happens.
Maybe you need to resurrect those old pages, Mel.
All the best.

Thank you for commenting, Fintan, it's appreciated!
You actually have a point there, I'm not a great fan of Facebook, but let's see what the results are in the future. I know that everything takes time and it doesn't happen in five minutes.
A very Happy New Year to you.
Roy
