Wealthy Affiliate is great for folks on Social Security
Now that I have been retired and on social security, which by the way is neither social or secure. Just look at how they keep changing the requirements. I get the same amount per month now as I did when I first got a job 25 years ago. The only difference is I don't have to pay taxes on it..
Yeah, "but you get cost of living adjustments every year", you might say.. In the six years I have been getting social security, I have only gotten three cost of living raises, two for 1% and this year 2%.. Boy, I must be living high on the hog NOW.. NOT, it still feels like a JOB, 'Just Over Broke' and more month than money.. I needed to earn some extra money.
I began searching the internet for something that would help me earn some extra cash while still enjoying retirement. I joined some senior citizen blogs about 'how to make money online'. Talk about scary, they were all warning about being scammed in one way or another and how hard it was to learn about all the new technology and blogging in general. But few talked about affiliate marketing as a way to make money without the hassle of having to have products to sell or buying into someones down line or MLM scam.
Several mentioned Wealthy Affiliate and I should check it out. Oh by the way, it's free to try it out. I like free stuff.. I clicked on the link and wow what I learned was overwhelming.
Besides learning all about affiliate marketing, Wealthy Affiliate is a one stop shop for everything you need to setup a website, the host, the software, security, support, domain names, WordPress training, did i mention support there is a chat room to ask any question you want and get answers in real time.. Now that is amazing.
I can see this as a long term relationship and I am only getting started..

Hey Ross
WA is the best platform for an online business, I tried so many others in a 5 year period and never got what was promised,
I lost so much, including faith in online business, until I came across Wealthy Affiliate, by accident, mind you, here at WA, what you reap you sow, a perfect fit for me.
Nice blog Ross, thanks for sharing it.

Exactly the same reasons I joined Wealthy Affiliate. I was looking for a training/educational platform to help me build a business online. I joined after a friend mentioned it to me. Immediately impressed, I've now been here over a year. Yes! Most definitely a one-stop shop.
All the best,
Sue
Yes, you are exactly right--everything you could ask for in one place and at a reasonable price!!

Did you know that the check we get is now called "Federal Benefit Payment" at last the truth is coming out.. here is part of an article I found..
"And your retirement fund would last more than 33 years (until you’re 98 if you retire at age 65)! I can only imagine how much better most average-income people could live in retirement if our government had just invested our money in low-risk interest-earning accounts.
Instead, the folks in Washington pulled off a bigger Ponzi scheme than Bernie Madoff ever did.
They took our money and used it elsewhere.
They forgot (Knew) that it was OUR money they were taking.
They didn’t have a referendum to ask us if we wanted to lend the money to them.
And they didn’t pay interest on the debt they assumed .
And recently, they’ve told us that the money won’t support us for very much longer .
But is it our fault they misused our investments?
And now, to add insult to injury, they’re calling it a benefit , as if we never worked to earn every penny of it.
Offered by John C. Just because they borrowed the money, doesn’t mean that our investments were a charity!"
So true...
